  1. In the past I did save things for the best, but after a couple of recent life events I’m changing my mind.

  2. I’m terrible at now wearing clothes and shoes because I want to keep them for ‘best’, despite I have nowhere to wear my ‘best’ clothes. At the moment I have trying to persuade myself to start wearing my Wednesday Edition Doc Martens as otherwise they will just sit in the box forever!

  3. I do this, my mum used to do this, I imagine my grandma used to do this too. Luckily I don’t have a china set in a cabinet that’s just gathering dust but I do do this with beauty products. I need to STOP!

  4. I’m terrible for saving things for best! I’m currently refusing to use a gorgeous candle because it smells far too nice to actually burn

  9. I do tend to use things. 22 years ago we bought ourselves an expensive china dinner service and agreed that we must use it regularly – and we do. OK, we’ve broken a couple of things (and I cried each time) but it’s no use hidden away in the cupboard all the time.
