Valentines is tomorrow – but I couldn’t wait to get this candle burning, handmade from 100% pure soy wax, it has hidden inside it, a ring worth between £10 and £1000. The hard part is waiting the 10 – 15 hours of burning time it takes to get down to that little silver heat proof package, of course some may give into digging it out, but sadly Ash banned me and would watch closely every time I went near, just in case the temptation would get too much (as it often nearly did).
Candle Rings offer a whole host of fragrances but this limited edition number for Valentines offers the fragrance of a summer garden as the aroma of Roses wafts around the room once it is lit.
My Burning Love candle probably took more towards to 15 hours to fully get out my ring – which I have to admit, I am pleased with, in person the stone offers a darker look (sadly with the flash on the camera they all came out looking quite light – though if you look towards the edge that is more true to life). For me when it comes to fashion jewellery I just so happen to lean towards larger, statement pieces – so I can see thing ring being something I perhaps do reach for in the future. All Candle Rings, rings should have a price attached to them (as you can see mine is said to be worth £20), but if yours happens to be missing you can pop Candle Rings a note and they will get back to you with a price.
When it comes to burning the candle itself has burnt pretty evenly (except for around the ring – which I can safely say is completely safe tucked in its wrapping), I can’t give you a complete burn time as mine is still going, though it must be getting close to 70 hours or more at around the half way mark. The scent definitely does drift around the room, and quite often I would get a nice waft of it.
I can definitely see myself buying myself more in the future in fact I really quite fancy trying Fresh Laundry sometime soon and while they do cost £24.99, I think for the fact it does offer such a long burn time and you have a bit of mystery thrown in (which is worth at least £10) I’m in.

That’s a nice, unique looking ring, I like it! I bought a ring candle for a Christmas gift for someone this year… I was torn wanting to keep the candle and gift something else instead. 😉 I think these are fun!

These are super fun to receive. We did receive one here in the states and hubby was the one who couldn’t wait to get to the ring.
