Unique Solar Wall Plaques from Flory’s Online

Flory’s Online
Selling unique garden decor Flory’s Online were founded in 2018. It all started with an idea from the Dad who is an engineer in the laser cutting industry. He suggested they make their own hanging basket brackets and instead of copying designs already out there. So they did. For inspiration, they took into account the Mum’s love of births and the daughter’s love of cats.
They soon found friends and family were asking where they got their brackets from and responding with surprise when they said that they made them.
Unsurprisingly they were quickly asked for favours in making them for friends and family, and the birth of Flory’s Online began.
Today they make and design all their products in the heart of the UK using specialist equipment and not only offer lighted and non-lighted hanging basket brackets but wall art, fence toppers, bird feeders and more.
Westie Dog Solar Light Wall Plaque
I was kindly asked if I would like to have a look at one of their solar wall plaques. These plaques come in a range of designs, crossing subject matters such as animals, hobbies and planes, trains and automobiles, just to name a few.
They are able to be hung with a white background or with a view of the original structure it’s placed on through it. This can look especially nice when placed against brick walls.
The plaques are made from high-quality British steel and are fully powder-coated with UV protection. This helps to not only give them this wonderful dark black colour but also protects them from the weather as well. Making for a quality item, which will last for a long time.
I decided to go for a westie solar wall plaque, which I originally wanted to place below our door number. However, sadly the wall space wasn’t big enough and so we decided to attach it to our shed instead. The solar plaque comes complete with screws and wall plugs, so all you need is a screwdriver and in my case someone to hang it.
Installation took my Dad only a few minutes when placing the light onto our shed door. Be aware that it is worth making sure the solar light is switched on before you install it, or you at least check where the switch is.
Once hanging up it looks great both in the day and at night, and in the location we went for I’m glad we went for the white background. It has been up now for a number of weeks and looks lovely as the sun starts to set. The solar cell charges the battery during the day, and the light switches on automatically as darkness falls.
The Westie Dog Solar Light Wall Plaque is 20cm x 25cm and is £24.99 without a white background and £29.99 with one. Personally, I feel like these really are a good value, especially for a UK-made, family-designed product.

Its really hard to choose with so many lovely ones! For me its between the our home, the bees and the butterflies. I think possibly Our home would clinch it for me since we brought our first home together last year
I love the Staffie Dog Solar Light Wall Plaque. I have 2 Staffies who rule our house!! It would look great in our garden above their outdoor sleeping area.
I would choose the Butterfly Solar Light Wall Plaque, I would put it in our part of the garden that is now a memorial garden for our daughter who died as a baby 11 years ago, this would be perfect.
Cat Solar Wall Plaque – I would hang it near to my door so it looks like the cat is reaching up to be let in.

This was a tough decision to make but I think the Tree of Life as it has such significance to me.

Hi I would have the vodka o’clock plaque and give it to my best friend who I met 6 years ago on the children’s oncology unit, where our children lost their fight. I know she would put it up on the fence in her garden next to the bench she had made in memory of her daughter Summer Rose. There she can sit have a drink and remember.
So difficult to choose, but I think that I would have to go for the German Shepherd dog in memory of my greatly missed girl.

The Lancaster Bomber Solar Light Wall Plaque would be perfect for my partner. When his Dad died a few years ago, his ashes were scattered out of a Lanc. I dare say he would put it by the summer house where he goes to sit when he wants to be alone to think.

I got my hubby a steam train one from Florys for Christmas, really well made, good quality, and the solar light is so bright even in winter. We put it right next to our back garden gate steps to illuminate them when he empties the bins. We have a garden railway, so this looks so great on our wall!
