Are you heading out with your Mum for Mother’s Day? Looking for a comfortable, casual outfit to wear for the occasion? Then check out this idea I have put together for you to think about trying from Yours Clothing.
YOURS Curve Cobalt Blue Frill Sleeve Smock Dress

I’m starting with this beautiful smock dress, I feel like this is something that can keep you going, from now all the way through summer. Due to the length, it works perfectly with a pair of leggings, jeggings or even jeans, while when the weather is warmer you can completely ditch the trousers.
Personally, I really love frill sleeves at the moment, I don’t like the top of my arms and they just give a nice level of coverage.
Offered in this eye-catching cobalt blue as well as black and navy, this dress is offered in sizes 16 – 32 and comes up true to size.
The YOURS Curve Cobalt Blue Frill Sleeve Smock Dress comes in at £19.99.
YOURS Curve Black Pointelle Balloon Sleeve Cardigan

This pointelle cardigan is the perfect piece for transitional seasons. From the scalloped edging to the balloon sleeve style, it is something that can be worn all day or grabbed on a chilly evening.
Offered in black or pink, this cardigan comes in an oversized style, so depending on oversized you like your items, you may wish to size down for a more fitted look. While if you are between sizes I would be tempted to go for the smaller option.
Personally, I feel like I will get a lot of use from this cardigan and can’t wait to start wearing it out and about.
The YOURS Curve Black Pointelle Balloon Sleeve Cardigan is offered in sizes 14 – 36 and comes in at £23.99. It is running short in some sizes, so if you like it I’d suggest snapping it up.
YOURS Curve Indigo Blue Washed Elasticated Stretch MOM Jeans

Personally, I can’t wear anything too tight or ridged around my waist due to skin sensitivity, as such for many years I lived in leggings. However, now there are more options available out there with elasticated waists, and I’m really starting to diversify my wardrobe a little.
These elasticated stretch Mom jeans are offered in black and indigo, in this slightly distressed style or a more ripped offering comes in black and a lighter blue. Personally, I feel like these fit on the larger size and would be tempted to size down (in fact I’m hoping to return this pair in exchange for a smaller size).
I hope these will offer a more comfortable way to wear jeans and give me more choices when it comes to days out.
The YOURS Curve Indigo Blue Washed Elasticated Stretch MOM Jeans come in at £29.99.
Full Outfit

I would personally finish off these pieces, with a pair of my favourite boots and a bag for the back of my chair to round it off into a full outfit idea.
If you are heading out for afternoon tea this Mother’s Day, or in the months to come, I really hope you like this outfit idea.
What do you think of the three items from Yours, would you like to own any of the items?

I particularly like those jeans but they might restrict the type of restaurant we chose. I’m probably past those cool boots (it’s been a while) but, heck, why not?!
If you like something you are never passed it!
What a lovely outfit. I do love those smock dresses, especially with leggings. Since the lockdowns I have got used to wearing comfy clothes so hate wearing jeans with a zip and button, those elasticated jeans look fantastic. x
Honestly, in my world comfy clothes are a must, mt skin doesn’t tolerate anything else haha!
I don’t think I will get away with wearing jeans at the afternoon tea places my husband books for us. I wish I could but usually they ask for formal wear, no trainers or jeans type of places. Although I love the smock dress. Great for drinking lots of tea without causing discomfort, haha
I did think that after I put this together, I struggle with noise and often choose small local places to stay away from noise and obviously you can get away with dressing down a bit.
I love the smock, gorgeous colour and would hide all my lumpy bits! The boots are lovely too.
The colour is beautiful isn’t it – I am such a blue person and always get drawn toward it.
I love those boots – especially as they have a zip fastening, laces are difficukt for me to manage.
Honestly, zips are a must on boots I have to say – Yours do some great ones with zip sides as well.
Love the outfit, smart casual is so difficult to sort out. I particularly like the boots.
Thank you – I really struggle with putting ideas together a lot – often it’s oh you are in my hand? You will do then.
Some lovely ideas, I will be working Sunday but definitely good ideas for my next Sunday outfit!
Ah I hope you don’t have to work too hard on Sunday and you soon get a Sunday off!
I love the smock dress, great with leggings too
Definitely, it is just so easy to dress it up or down as well which is always helpful.
I like a more fitted style but definitely a dress for afternoon tea
I can understand that I don’t do fitted at all.
