Sealy Pocket Spring Back Pillow: Review and Giveaway
It’s not much of a secret I spend a lot of time in bed and one thing I notice when I stressed and sleeping badly, is I suffer more pain, especially in my neck.
As such I know a good pillow is something everyone needs in their life.
This is something Sealy are very aware of and they have come up with a range of pillows to make sure, no matter what your night-time issues are they have something to support you.
Sealy.

Sealy is a company who are all about night time. In fact, they have been in the industry for over 100 years. They are based in the heart of Cumbria and use the most advanced technology to offer you the best nights sleep.
They offer a range of mattress in a whole range of different types. From pocket sprung to memory form, Posturepedic and more.
To complement their mattresses, they have also have a range of beds and headboard which offer a focal point for the room.
Sealy Pocket Spring Back Pillow.

I was kindly sent one of their cushions to try out.
I personally decided to go for Pocket Spring Back. This pillow, in particular, includes 28 pocket springs, to help offer a flexible support system.
Worried about having pocket springs in your pillow and it being uncomfortable? Well, please don’t. They have been specifically surrounded by soft hollow fibre; which helps offer a supportive, comfortable design.
What’s more, the design of the pillow has been designed to try and help keep you cool as you sleep.
As you might have got from the name, this cushion is designed to spring back into shape when you get up in the morning. Offering ongoing support, as the night’s pass.
If that wasn’t enough then this pillow is also hypoallergenic and made to be comfortable and soft due to the covering of DuPont™ Cotrano® fibres.
What Do I Think?

I will be honest as always. It takes a little getting used to after all this isn’t your average pillow. So please don’t try it once and give up.
Once you get used to it you will be glad you gave it just one more try.
Personally, after that starting period, I’ve found it to be much more comfortable to sleep on, with it holding my neck a lot more supportively than a normal pillow.
Personally I am really impressed with the Sealy Pocket Spring Back Cushion and while I realise this pillow won’t work for everyone, please do look into the features for all of the pillows in their range as you are bound to find one which works perfectly.

no tea or coffee after 8pm, the caffeine will make it hard to fall asleep
My top tip is to not become self employed & decide to run your own hotel with just you & your partner, with no staff. Long gone are the nights where I can sleep all the way through without being disturbed, and don’t even think about having a lay in! I’m so tired!
I’m always reading before bed or listening to meditation
A comfortable, clean bed including supportive pillows. Then a cool room is more restful. Preferably no alcohol for good nights sleep and try not to eat to late.
Spray a lavender pillow spray on your pillow or put sachet of dry lavender under it.
Blackout blinds, so you don’t wake up at first light
have a good routine
No electronics before bed. I always turn my phone off before i go up to bed.
reading normally makes me tired and getting the pillows just right
I find using a humidifier very helpful. The water keeps the air moist and stops those tickly coughs you often get if you suffer from allergies. With many you can also add a few drops of essential oils such as lavender, which is known to aid restful sleep.
In all honesty I wish I knew – haven’t had a good nights sleep in years.
Brew some herbal tea, put your phone away, dim lights to warm tones and switch off brain. Also try to keep the same time schedule, especially in these times of lockdown 🙂
go to bed at the same time each day
I always turn off my laptop and tablets at least half an hour before bed and then read in bed for a while before lying down. I have a non-backlit Kindle.
Don’t eat anything 2 hours before going to bed 🙂
A good hearty supper always makes me tired and ready to sleep.
No technology for an hour before bed and read instead to relax
Read before bed and avoid looking at your phone for at least 30 mins beforehand.
relax, breath deeply and unwind
reading instead of screen time in bed always works for me
Rub a little lavender oil onto the wrists, it really helps
Wake up at a decent time in the morning and do a little yoga while you’re making tea, or a brew, a little excercise, sit outside a bit for sun, and read for half hour or just ten minutes before bed, but steer clear of electronics for the half hour before bed as they’ll keep your mind on ‘day’ mode! xx
Sprinkle your pillow with lavender oil to help relax you.
Sprinkle your pillow with some lavender oil – relaxing!
A daily brisk walk and reduce caffine in the evening. No screens at least an hour before bed.
