Sealy Pocket Spring Back Pillow: Review and Giveaway
It’s not much of a secret I spend a lot of time in bed and one thing I notice when I stressed and sleeping badly, is I suffer more pain, especially in my neck.
As such I know a good pillow is something everyone needs in their life.
This is something Sealy are very aware of and they have come up with a range of pillows to make sure, no matter what your night-time issues are they have something to support you.
Sealy.

Sealy is a company who are all about night time. In fact, they have been in the industry for over 100 years. They are based in the heart of Cumbria and use the most advanced technology to offer you the best nights sleep.
They offer a range of mattress in a whole range of different types. From pocket sprung to memory form, Posturepedic and more.
To complement their mattresses, they have also have a range of beds and headboard which offer a focal point for the room.
Sealy Pocket Spring Back Pillow.

I was kindly sent one of their cushions to try out.
I personally decided to go for Pocket Spring Back. This pillow, in particular, includes 28 pocket springs, to help offer a flexible support system.
Worried about having pocket springs in your pillow and it being uncomfortable? Well, please don’t. They have been specifically surrounded by soft hollow fibre; which helps offer a supportive, comfortable design.
What’s more, the design of the pillow has been designed to try and help keep you cool as you sleep.
As you might have got from the name, this cushion is designed to spring back into shape when you get up in the morning. Offering ongoing support, as the night’s pass.
If that wasn’t enough then this pillow is also hypoallergenic and made to be comfortable and soft due to the covering of DuPont™ Cotrano® fibres.
What Do I Think?

I will be honest as always. It takes a little getting used to after all this isn’t your average pillow. So please don’t try it once and give up.
Once you get used to it you will be glad you gave it just one more try.
Personally, after that starting period, I’ve found it to be much more comfortable to sleep on, with it holding my neck a lot more supportively than a normal pillow.
Personally I am really impressed with the Sealy Pocket Spring Back Cushion and while I realise this pillow won’t work for everyone, please do look into the features for all of the pillows in their range as you are bound to find one which works perfectly.

Put your phone away. Im easily distracted by my phone, and definitely notice i fall to sleep sooner without it to hand.
Have a warm (not hot) bath and add some lavender oil to it. If you suffer from hayfever, try adding some Eucalyptus oil too.
This tip is only a recent occurrence. I prefer to sleep on my back, but since I hit my mid to late 30s, I tend to wake myself up snoring, I find if I sleep on my side this doesn’t happen. I never used to snore and I miss sleeping on my back 🙁
A good routine! Mine consists of having a warm drink and reading before I drift off to sleep as it helps my mind to relax
Letting go off all the days stresses and a good cuddle!
I dont actually sleep very well But I do find that A cup of Horlicks can help, A warm bath and lavender spray sometime helps I also find a heavy duvet helps a bit but no good in the summer.
Relaxation and some wind down time before bed to get you relaxed and sleepy!
I like to keep consistent with the time I go to bed and try for 6 or 7 hours a night have a good mattress and great pillow and a king bed all helpful
No technology in the hour before bed, and an eyelash will help
Establish a good regular bedtime routine, just like when you have kids, I do the same things at the same time every night, so my body recognises it is time to get ready to sleep. Before I would stay up all hours of the night watching tv, wake up whatever time in the mornings, feel rubbish all day, routine is key!
Putting down phones/laptop for an hour before going to sleep and reading instead.
My top tip for a good night’s sleep is to ensure that the temperature of your room is slightly on the cool side, but not overly so. Something like 18 Celsius.
A cool bedroom, a good quality mattress and pillow, and (my secret to finally being able to sleep) a weighted blanket
A cool room is better for sleep than a warm room.
I don’t drop off to sleep easily at all, the only way I have any chance of falling asleep is by reading until my eyes start to close.
a comfortable bed
I ask Alexa to pay spa music. It’s so relaxing and I drift off in no time at all
If you can’t get to sleep, don’t just lie in bed. Do something else, like reading, watching television, or listening to music, until you feel tired.
Earplugs to drown out the other half snoring ?
I make the room as dark as possible, with curtains and blinds, and I also wear an eye shade. I wear ear plugs because my husband snores. I prefer the pure wax ear plugs as I find the foam plugs dont work for me.
Fresh clean cool linen – and new pillows.
A good book and relaxing bath before bed. Some lavender scent always helps.
the best thing is to get up early in the morning and have a full active day
avoid your phone for at least a couple of hours
Mae sure your room/environment is set for sleeping – black out blinds, and a room that isnt too warm or too cold!
