Sealy Pocket Spring Back Pillow: Review and Giveaway
It’s not much of a secret I spend a lot of time in bed and one thing I notice when I stressed and sleeping badly, is I suffer more pain, especially in my neck.
As such I know a good pillow is something everyone needs in their life.
This is something Sealy are very aware of and they have come up with a range of pillows to make sure, no matter what your night-time issues are they have something to support you.
Sealy.

Sealy is a company who are all about night time. In fact, they have been in the industry for over 100 years. They are based in the heart of Cumbria and use the most advanced technology to offer you the best nights sleep.
They offer a range of mattress in a whole range of different types. From pocket sprung to memory form, Posturepedic and more.
To complement their mattresses, they have also have a range of beds and headboard which offer a focal point for the room.
Sealy Pocket Spring Back Pillow.

I was kindly sent one of their cushions to try out.
I personally decided to go for Pocket Spring Back. This pillow, in particular, includes 28 pocket springs, to help offer a flexible support system.
Worried about having pocket springs in your pillow and it being uncomfortable? Well, please don’t. They have been specifically surrounded by soft hollow fibre; which helps offer a supportive, comfortable design.
What’s more, the design of the pillow has been designed to try and help keep you cool as you sleep.
As you might have got from the name, this cushion is designed to spring back into shape when you get up in the morning. Offering ongoing support, as the night’s pass.
If that wasn’t enough then this pillow is also hypoallergenic and made to be comfortable and soft due to the covering of DuPont™ Cotrano® fibres.
What Do I Think?

I will be honest as always. It takes a little getting used to after all this isn’t your average pillow. So please don’t try it once and give up.
Once you get used to it you will be glad you gave it just one more try.
Personally, after that starting period, I’ve found it to be much more comfortable to sleep on, with it holding my neck a lot more supportively than a normal pillow.
Personally I am really impressed with the Sealy Pocket Spring Back Cushion and while I realise this pillow won’t work for everyone, please do look into the features for all of the pillows in their range as you are bound to find one which works perfectly.

My top tip is to try to get yourself in a routine
I always have a green tea before bed and find reading a book sends me off
Have a nice hot chocolate and have a good read!
Make sure that your bedroom is dark and well ventilated
Read a little to wind down and then an eye mask to black everything out completely
Chamomile tea and a hot bath with lush bathbomb!
The most likely thing that works is reading something like a magazine that has enough text to make me sleepy. But not a book that is so good you can’t put down!!! I’ve been camping in my extra room over a year on a bunch of pillows, and would love another, as the 86-yr-old woman under me bashes the wall if I even sit on my bed to put on my pj’s. She’s made complaints about it, although she just says “noise,” they wouldn’t believe she can’t stand me getting into my bed or out of it. So I haven’t slept in my bed (or even sat on it). I have to make sure something helps me sleep beyond all the lumps and bumps of my makeshift bed on the floor. This pillow looks soo dreamy!
Nomally a warm shower and then I read a bool in bed until I feel sleepy. That normally does the job.
meditation music helps me all the time especially since I have trouble sleeping
I believe in setting a good nighttime routine. Each night I have a bath then read my book for an hour and settle down for my nights sleep at 11.30pm.
I love using lavender spray on my pillow before bed
Air the bedroom every day, even if it’s just for 15 minutes. I also grow sansevieria plant on my windowsill.
Sleeping in a darkened room that’s not too warm.
For me it’s reading in bed and not drinking any coffee after midday.
Would make lounging on the sofa so much more palatable
Relaxing before going to sleep.
A nice cool bedroom is essential for sleep for me – lower tog duvet and cool cotton sheets really help!
great prize!! hope I win
A little bit of soothing background music always works for me.
My top tip for a good nights sleep is listening to an audiobook and having a peaceful, cool room!
The trouble is I am SO fussy about my pillows! They have to be ‘just so’… neither too firm nor too soft and it’s not easy finding the right balance!
I know it goes against all the rules but I sleep better if I read on my kindle or my ipad for a while before trying to get to sleep.
Always switch phones, tablets off or keep them out of room before going to bed. Also keep window open for cool air.
I use pillow spray.
