  1. I find cross-stitching really helps. Something about the repetitive actions and counting is really soothing.

  2. I use a variety – watching the movement of the waves (that’s one of many bonuses of living close to the sea), grooming (or even just hanging out) with my animals, spending time in the Forest (or just nature really) for instance – but the one I use most (so you could say it is my favourite) is breathwork. Although I work from home, it is not always possible to nip to the beach or Forest or I don’t have much time which rules out playing with the animals etc. But focusing on my breathing is something I can do no matter how little time I have or where I am and is ‘guaranteed’ to help bring my focus back to the here and now.

  3. I’m struggling to practice mindfulness, I’ve yet to find something I can dip in and out of briefly when I need something. Not having come across oracle cards before I think I’m off to buy some and give them a go.

  4. I love a bit of yoga in the morning and I make an effort in the evening to write in my gratitude diary

  5. These cards sound wonderful. I know my best friend would love these too. I will point her in their direction. I love to colour, this is how I relax.

  6. Meditation when I wake up. Sitting in the garden, feeling the grass between my toes and fresh air. Enjoying the stillness.

  7. I usually meditate after a bath by sitting in my room where I have 15 wall clocks ticking quietly away – Very hypnotising. I’ve also now got a beautiful illuminated glass globe oil diffuser which I find very relaxing to use too. And there are also some fabulous healing music/videos on Youtube I have discovered that I use sometimes to fall asleep to.

  8. I love oracle cards, tarot cards, and all sorts of other spiritual things. I think my favourite might be just sitting in nature and listening to the birds. But I also love a hot bath with some crystals and some relaxing music.

  9. My favourite way to practice mindfulness is with meditation before I fall asleep and before I get up. I use Audible or YouTube for a guided meditation and it really helps.

  10. Sea soul journeys oracle cards are such a lovely invention. I could see how they would help me centre and realign my chaotic life focus by connecting to the sea. I love this idea.

  11. Walking in the woods is my type of meditation. Concentrating on the smells, the noises, the feel of the breeze on my skin. So relaxing, then my dog races towards my carrying a 3 day old dead pigeon, looking very proud of herself.
