PJ Pan – Daydream PJ Bottoms: Review
If there is one upside to the CFS and Fibro it is the chance it gave me to be a PJ’s connoisseur, I mean never in my former life would I have spent all day in a pair, but now it’s a luxury that I treat myself to when a bad day comes around. I mean if the pain stops you from leaving the house, you might as well make sure you are spoiling yourself within the home.
So of course when I was offered the chance to review a pair of PJ Pan PJ bottoms I just had to say yes!
PJ Pan was started with the desire of making the perfect PJs, by a lady who just couldn’t find them for herself, she wanted stylish, comfortable nightwear made of quality cotton, the journey of PJ Pan began in 2008 when the first website was launched with a ladies range. Since then it has grown in strength and they now of course sell nightwear for children and men as well and as of July 2011 all items are made within Britain.
PJ Pan work with mainly two types of cotton; Egyptian and brushed. The pair I decided to go for, Daydreamer, are made of brushed cotton and use a material that is available for men, women and children – allowing the whole family to stock up on some matching PJs.
The first thing I noticed about these bottoms was the beautiful softness of the cotton; it has been a long time since I have come across a cotton product quite as nice as this. While the first thing my Mum saw when I showed them to her, was the stitching. There has been obvious care put into the detailing of the bottoms, from the stitching around the seams and hems, to the tightly stitched edge around the waist tie, a part that is so often left to fray on many items.
The fact these are made of cotton means they do offer less stretch than perhaps you might be used to, although the waist is elasticated around the back, they do however in my mind accommodate for that allowing a little more material, which means you can slouch in comfort.
I am head over heels for my PJ Pan Daydreamer PJ bottoms – they are a complete luxury item – that allows me to feel a little bit pampered even on my worst day so a huge thank you to PJ Pan for allowing me to try these fantastic bottoms.
To grab yourself a pair (and believe me you won’t be disappointed if you are anything like me) pop over to the PJ Pan website to check out all the wonderful designs they sell or click straight through to the Daydream PJ Bottoms which cost £38.
