  1. Such crazy times we are living in! Very happy that things are picking back up now though slowly and we are able to see our families indoors again!

    1. Definitely I really hope this opening up goes well and we can start going back to some sort of normal.

  2. Been to the barbers, to get my haircut and went to sort myself some new running shoes out too as my current ones are on their last legs. Great to start catching up with people face to face with a pint too.

  3. The only thing i am looking forward to is having my hair cut. Its not for vanity either. My hair has gone that long, it wraps around me neck and is strangling me at night when i sleep!

  4. Sorry to hear you had vaccine side effects. My husband & I had quite differing reactions. He was fine, a slightly sore arm but that was all. I felt dreadful for about 48 hours, sore, achy all over and suffering from brain fog so I couldn’t even read or watch TV to pass the time. Still, I’m glad to have had the first dose, and looking forward to going to visit our daughter and granddaughter who we’ve not seen for almost a year!

    1. It is crazy how different it has been for everyone, Ash and I both had bad ones, but neither of us had the same side effects.

  5. We have been watching a lot of Disney+ too – we are currently marathoning Scrubs. We have also been watching The Circle, of course!

  6. Hopefully we’re starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Fingers crossed! We’ve been thankful for Disney+ too, it’s been a lifesaver through lockdown!

    1. It really is, isn’t it? I am so glad for streaming channels. I don’t know what we would have done without them.

  7. Ooh that Covid vaccine with chronic illness post sounds interesting-I had mine about four weeks and zero side effects so far touch wood,

    1. It’s a really interesting post. Glad you had no side effects, Ash and I had awful ones – but got to be better than having COVID right?

  8. Don’t feel like you cause the Doctors problems hun, as they are there as you need their expertise, so keep your chin up xx We are looking forward to the restrictions easing and actually going for a meal out x

    1. Thank you – I think as I have so many things going on it feels like I’m causing chaos at times.

  9. I know what you mean about wanting to find somewhere that won’t be too busy, that’s a worry I’ve been having and have been putting off some bits for an extra week or two x

    1. Yeah, I’m hoping that once the first couple of weeks have gone by things will quiet down a bit as everyone won’t be so like OH MY GOSH OUTSIDE!

  10. Can’t wait for the lockdown to be over it has been stressful, looking forward to some more norms I hope, Will have to check the post on the covid vaccine.

    1. Definitely, hopefully it will help people feel a bit more at connected to others and less alone.

  11. I honestly thought I would be more enthusiastic about the shops opening up and life beginning to get back to some kind of normality but I’m not really. I guess I have just learnt to live with it so it will be strange and take some getting used to.

    1. Definitely, I think everything will feel very strange reopening as we’ve got used to living in a completely different way.

  12. We don’t have any dates for re-opening yet here in Northern Ireland, but I really miss going to charity shops and meals out – can’t wait for these things to open!

    1. I hope things start to reopen for you in time too. The rules are so different across the countries, aren’t they?

  13. Hopefully you can meet up with your friends next week and feel a little bit more normality . I can’t wait to meet up with friends!

  14. Do hope the coming week is much better for you. I love Lost and used to watch it when it first aired, also super excited about the shops opening up again

    1. Thank you! Lost is great isn’t it – sometimes it is nice to rewatch something you have seen before.

  15. Like you, the one thing I really want to do now that lockdown is easing is to meet friends outdoors for coffee. But so far we have been finding very quiet, secluded places to meet friends which means no coffee but minimal risk of bumping in to others which is nice.

I hope you’re able to get out soon x

    1. It sounds like you have found some lovely places to meet up it can be hard to find quiet places.

  16. For the first time in months I am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I hope things get better and return to some normality.

    1. Fingers crossed, I do worry there will be another wave of it though but I hope I am wrong.

  17. I’m really looking forward to hairdressers reopening, my hair has got to a really awkward length that keeps getting caught behind my back when I sit down.

    1. I normally hate going to the hair dressers and DIY it but I really need to go myself to be honest.

      1. It’s bizarre as normally I don’t tend to enjoy going out to places where I would go on my own but the hairdressers is the only place I enjoy. I’ve stuck with the same hairdresser for 17 years so heaven only knows what I would do if they ever closed down. I love the smell when you walk inside, I immediately relax 😊

        1. Oh that is amazing – I think when you find someone you can trust like that it is great to hold onto them!
