  1. Mine is at least 2 hours in front of the television with a book of sudokus and a glass of scotch. Always works.

  2. Loving the bottle of the sleep perfume you sent. The only way I can fall asleep, is watching a movie. Any time I watch a movie at night, I’m guaranteed to fall asleep.

  3. Aw no 🙁 Ash gets awful insomnia I don’t know how it makes it through some days with the how little he gets. x

  4. I find sleep/eye masks which block any light are useful, especially if hubby wants to read/ have the TV on. I don’t have trouble falling to sleep but I do wake up early. Today it was 4 am!! This is not good for my mood.

  5. I’ve never tried using a room spray to help me fall asleep before. Usually I read a book or listen to some music. The problem with that is that I then usually start playing games on my phone – most likely Candy Crush! aha

  6. I also find reading helps me sleep. Definitely struggle to go to sleep if I have a cup of tea or coffee in the evening. I also find if I am particularly stressed or feeling down- I would just lie on my bed either listening to chill out music (on headphones) or visualize being by the beach – just calms me somehow that I feel that I can sleep.

    1. It’s nice just to be somewhere else sometimes before you go to sleep I’m sure if you think happy thoughts before sleep you get good dreams as well lol x

  7. I love l’Occitane products. I will have to try this for my husband. I have no trouble falling asleep but he constantly suffers from insomnia. He recently discovered Dream Water which has helped him a lot, but it’s very expensive! Might have to try this too and see if it helps him.

    1. I hope it helps – I adore L’Occitaine products as well I have to admit they really know how to get an amazing fragrance going. x

  8. Baths definitely seem to help me fall asleep at night, but I still have issues with waking up often and I’m so tired during the day.

  9. I take warm showers and try to stay off the PC and phone before I go to bed because my mind will race too. I haven’t tried the perfume idea 🙂

  10. I do not have a bedtime routine and maybe that might be part of my issue of falling asleep. I really should try some of these tips as they sound great.

  11. I wouldn’t say I have a bedtime routine. I go through cycles where I want music on but in the long run I really think I don’t sleep as well with it so I try to break that habit.

  12. I really like your bedtime routine. I love relaxing room spray too. I am going to see if I can get my hands on the badger balm I would love to try that.

  13. I love this post because I never seem to get enough sleep. As a matter of fact, I’m trying to sign off now so I could finally get to bed.

  14. I have a pretty easy time falling asleep because I am usually just so exhausted! But if I get woken up, its really hard for me to fall back asleep.

  15. I wash the kids with some soothing bath oils. It creates a scent that calms them ( or I think it does!) It’s so important to have a bedtime routine, I just wish the kids would follow it. lol

    1. They make some amazing smelling bath oils don’t they – I used to love a bath in the evening sadly it’s not so possible these days though. x

  16. I am always sparying my room with ‘special’ sleep time scents to help me relax & also helps the dog farts! I love Badger balm & I also have to read when I get into bed, the one thing I hate is a tv in the bedroom that makes me mad!

  17. my review would be working on my blog until I get too tired to stay up. Evenings or early morning are the only time i get peace and quiet, when everyone else is asleep! If i’m not on the computer I’ll watch a movie on Netflix until I fall asleep.

  18. I am a huge sleep craver! I would sleep away my life! lol!! My husband on the other hand has a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. I have never tried a room spray.

  19. Wow I don’t know how I would cope on 5 hours – I’ve heard that before – I used to sleep with my TV on all the time and it was the only way I could sleep I used to be terrified of the dark after certain things. x

  20. I’m all for lavender at night – it was really nice getting to try the spray shame it didn’t help but like I said I think that’s down to my lavender at night obsession anyway.

Fantastic that it helped 🙂 x

  21. Yes I do. It’s called trying to catch up on blogging, LOL.

I wasn’t really aware that there are products out there like this spray that can help you relax and fall asleep. I will have to look into this.

  22. I do not quite have a bedtime routine, just have to make myself lay down before 1am! Lol. I should get something routine for myself though, The perfume sounds like a great idea!

  23. I’d love to try out a bunch of sleep aid products. I was having a very hard time staying asleep for months but I finally found something that works, Nature Made VitaMelts Melatonin. Within 10 minutes I can’t keep my eyes open any longer. I tried music & sprays too. Worked some but not as well as the melatonin. I can only imagine how many irritable people are insomniacs.

    1. I used Mealtonin tablets as a teen but the doctor took me off of them and they were amazing, used to fix me right up. x

  24. i dont know if i have a sleep routine or not. I workout. I may read or clean. then turn off the lights. change the tv channel and go to sleep

  25. I need my sleep, and for those rare times I can’t sleep I do try room scents – normally lavender.
Another good trick is to leave a notepad and pen by your bed for those random thoughts that pop into your head in the middle of the night.
    Thank you

  26. My hubby has a hard time falling to sleep, maybe this scent might be the solution. Thanks for making us aware!

  27. I sleep a lot, more than normal peeps. Even in class, weddings everywhere! I also listen to music and drink something CHILLED. This makes me sleep peacefully 🙂

  28. I have a hard time sleeping through the night, I don’t think I would like this scent, but you introduced me to room scents for sleeping. Thanks so much!

    1. Definitely try looking for one thats right for you scents can be so personal so look for something that relaxes you and your on the right path 🙂 x

  29. I don’t really have a bedtime routine. I put the kids to bed and then take a shower and lay on the couch for some movies with the hubby and when im tired i go to bed

  30. I can not go to bed right after watching tv or any electronic stimulation to the brain. It wires me. So everything is shut off, I do my routine of letting the dog out, giving her food/water, feeding the cats, clean the litter box, get myself ready, check the doors and by then I’m ready to shut down. I can’t do any room spray my allergies are too sensitive. No music either, I’ll lay there and sing. LOL

    1. Oh no 🙁 I hope things get better for you soon – I’ll try and think of some more tips if I can 🙂 x

  31. I am with you on the sleep routine. Taking baths helps so much. I love the perfume idea and what an adorable bottle.
