La Coppola Storta Meusa Cap: Review
One thing I love about autumn is the fashion it brings with it, the fact you can wrap up in a scarf and jumper and yes I know you can get summer hats, but for some reason I gravitate towards them much more in the colder months. So when WAREMAKERS got in touch and asked if I could like to review something from their website, I fell head over heels for the La Coppola Storta Meusa Cap and just knew I needed one for this year.
If you are yet to hear about WAREMAKERS let me tell you a little about them, they are a mix of an online marketplace / web-magazine, which has a love for only the finest high quality products. They look to seek out artisans that offer the best handmade products around, with many of the items in their marketplace being made to order.
The hat I fell in love with, is made and designed in Sicily, Italy by La Coppola Storta. They pride themselves on their hats, which are made using only the best materials. In fact they strive to use only natural and organic materials where possible and for instance line all their caps with cotton, while many other companies would use polyester. It is worth reading up the story behind La Coppola Sorta, as they strive to take back some of the once iconic styles of the area, from the mafia.
La Coppola Storta Meusa Cap
I personally went for the La Coppola Storta Meusa Cap in black cotton, though it was such a hard choice, they do so many different colours as well as the different styles. The hat has been made from 100% cotton, featuring a black outer and purple inner.
The entire La Coppola Storta range are made to order and come in a choice of sizes from small to extra-large, so you know that the cap you order, will fit perfectly on your head. I have to admit I was a bit worried about getting my size right, however there is an easy to follow guide (I mean even I worked it out) and all you need is a tape measure.
As you can see with the above picture the La Coppola Storta Meusa Cap is fitted to the back with a little bit of elastic which means you don’t have to be dead on with your sizing. However, if you come in between sizes however, I would definitely look at going for the next size up.
Personally I think this cap is absolutely gorgeous, it really does fit well, is light and feels comfortable when on. It offers enough room at the back for me to have my hair up or down, when I am wearing it, which is great and as such I am sure it will be a go to cap this year.
The La Coppola Storta Meusa Cap from WAREMAKERS costs; £59/€66/$72 and can of course be brought from the WAREMAKERS website along with a whole host of other beautiful, handmade goodies.
What do you think of this cap, could you see yourself buying one?

I’ve never been much of a hat wearer but this is a lovely style x
Oh it’s just brillant, really suits you. Wish i could pull off stuff like this xx
I wish I could have had this cap for a costume a few years ago. This is such a great newsboy style hat.
I think the cap is really stylish and you look good in it! x
Aww thank you <3 even with my Sunday morning BLAH face on 😉 LOL
This is the style of hat my husband loves to wear. We actually looked at a similar hat this past week!
I love the cap, it kind of reminds me of Victorian caps which I love because I am a history girl at heart. Looking fab xx
Great choice, I love that it comes in sizes. My head is so small I have a hard time finding hats that fit me.
It is great isn’t it – I brought some of the shelf hats in the summer and they were all so big! I normally just go for something cotton / stretchy in the winter so I know it will fit. x
I don’t think this cap would look as cute on me as it does you. I would look great on my daughters though so I’ll have to consider getting them one.
You really suit this and I definitely think it’s a classic style that won’t go out of fashion/style so a good investment x
Aw thank you so much – I hate pictures of myself so took a lot to include a little one haha. x
That looks like not only a very stylish, but also very versatile hat! I can’t say that I’ve heard of Waremakers before this though. I’ll definitely have to check them out.
I have to admit before this I hadn’t heard of them before, but will definitely be going back 🙂 x
What a great way to stay toasty! Wish I could work a hat.
That hat looks nice on you. I need to try a hat to accessorize on cold days
I always think there is a hat for everyone you just need to find the right one for you 🙂 x
Aww i have to admit i love a good hat! I have lots but none like this so will have to see if they suit!
There is nothing like one is there – it can hide a multitude of sins 😉 x
This La Coppola Storta Meusa Cap is indeed something I will have to check out. I love this style cap and it is awesome you can wear it with your hair up even. Thanks for sharing this awesome cap.
I will have to agree with you it’s a good looking hat! I’ve never been able to pull off a hat, but a friend of mine loves these types of hats. I wonder if she’s found this place I’m going to tell her.
It is strange how different things can look amazing on some and not suit others at all. So much I love but I look crazy if I wear it 😉 x
Love the hat! I wish I could pull them off! lol. I bought a scrunchy knit hat and looked ridiculous lol. Jealous that you can pull it off! It looks great on you!
Thank you 🙂 always try different kinds, just because one doesn’t suit you something else might 🙂 x
I love autumn fashion, especially chunky scarves. Love that hat on you!
Hands up I love a good scarf as well – yet to find the perfect one for this year yet though. x
I love this hat!! What a cute hat for this time of year it looks great on you too!
Such a great hat! It looks really good on you, and I love the purple lining!
The lining is lovely isn’t it – I think it gives it a nice finishing touch. x
That is a really cute hat! I haven really gotten into hats lately as they help hide third or fourth day hair very well!! Great post!!
Doesn’t it just haha! One of the best things about hats haha! x
I looks lovely – I love wearing hats when it gets colder too!
I love this cap specially winter season.
My daughter looks awesome in caps and she would love this one. I like that it’s light, fits well and comes in several different colors. This cap would be perfect for those bad hair days too.
That last point is totally one of the reasons I love hats… Everyday is a bad hair day for me after all 😉 x
Looks really nice on you. My mum loves hats like this, I can just about manage a beanie as my limit lol but who doesn’t love Italian/Sicilian fashion xo
Aww thank you <3, I have to admit I'm a bit of a hat fanatic, I think because my hair never does what I want it to it's an easy way to deal with that 😉 lol x
Love this hat! Such a stylish way to stay warm in the cold.
It is lovely honestly, so much nicer than the pictures as well – hard to really capture it. x
