  1. I really felt for the hospital staff during the pandemic. I’m sorry your stay wasn’t great. Getting barely any sleep doesn’t help much with how you’re feeling either.

  2. You poor thing! It sounds an absolute nightmare! I have only been in hospital once, about two years ago, when I caught flu – despite being vaccinated. I hated it in there and also felt very lonely for much of the day. The nursing staff all do wonderful work, but I couldn’t wait to get out of there and was discharged at the earliest opportunity.

    1. The staff are incredible in the hospital, aren’t they? I can’t imagine what it has been like for them during the pandemic as well. It must have been so hard.

  3. Gosh, that all sounds a bit scary. This has been such a difficult time for so many people.

  4. Yes I do that too. For example, how will my children handle danit? How will the economy be? Do I keep my job? It’s so much to worry about.

  5. It’s so bad in Corona times. Fortunately, my family and I were never in the hospital. We are all healthy. I never thought there would be so many people dying. Even with a vaccination. It hurts in the soul and one immediately thinks of the family. Be blessed

    1. It is scary isn’t it – I hope things start to get better soon, but I do worry a lot about the future.

  6. Being in hospital is a nightmare at any time, but even worse during a pandemic, my heart goes out to you! Thank goodness you are now home again!

    1. Thank you – I am so so glad to be homes, finally starting to feel like I can do things again too.

  7. Sounds like a scary time for you, hope you are feeling better now and on the road to recovery.

    1. I did say I can’t thank them enough, they were all very kind and caring, but obviously very busy. No one really sat around speaking to you, they just popped in did what they needed then headed off to the next patient.

    1. Thank you I’m definitely on the way to being better! An experience I wouldn’t like to relive.

  8. Sending love and hugs. It’s no fun being in hospital at anytime but during a pandemic sounds extra stressful and very lonely. I hope you are feeling better soon. x

    1. Thank you so much! It is horrid isn’t it at any time, just definitely a bit of added stress in a pandemic as well.

  9. What a scary experience for you and I agree that one of the worst things is not having your loved ones able to visit. Phones and FaceTime do not make up for a physical presence

    1. They really don’t, having someone visiting it person gives you something to look forward to and takes your mind off things.
