Autumn Dog Walking Fashion
When you have a dog, walking needs to happen whatever the weather and making sure you have the correct clothing to keep you warm across the colder seasons is a must. So with that in mind I decided to take an online window shopping trip with The Edinburgh Woollen Mill and see what they had to keep a person warm.
Pure Cashmere Scarf – RRP £60
There are some beautiful coloured scarves on the website made from a number of different materials, but this gorgeous cream number made of 100% Mongolian cashmere, allows the for it to be worn with a multitude of colours and different styles.
Black Trousers – RRP £20
Comfy walking trousers are a must whatever the time of year (unless it is really hot), especially when you never know just how long you may be walking – weather it be your dog talking a bit of a longer route or spending a lot of time sniffing, you never can just plan a short one.
Ladies Chrissy Double Breasted Jacket – RRP £300
OK so a £300 jacket might not be the best bet for walking your dog in, but I just had to include it as isn’t it gorgeous! Made from genuine Harris Tweed it features a belted waist and button up front and hey as long as you don’t go rolling around in the dirt with your pooch it might just be ok.
Harris Tweed Baker Boy Hat – RRP £25
No outfit is complete without a good hat and as you can see, this one in a beauty. Would you believe it has been handwoven by Hebridean craftsmen? What a wonderful way to stand out from the crowd, in a hat I am definitely lusting after.
So there you have some of top picks for dog walking this autumn, now if only my mobility would allow me to walk more – perhaps I should treat my Mum to them for her help.

I suppose it is important for one to look nice when walking the dog too. You never know who is going to see you while you are out and about.

Oh we used to have a dog and I never got fancy to take the dog out. Normally it was an expected walk and I was hoping no one was around to see me.

I am a huge fan of the wool tartans. My husband is Scottish and I am Irish so we have quite a few patterns between the two of us.
