Accessorize Perfume: Lovelily Review
I think we’ve all fallen in love with something that Accessorize sells at one time or another. I remember it being a favourite haunt going back many years.
Originally a small selection of accessories in the Monsoon shops, the first Accessorize store launched in Covent Garden, London, in 1984.
Accessorize is a high street favourite amongst many with its well-priced, high-quality range of accessories. This shop sells everything you need to make an outfit, including bags, hats, purses, jewellery, belts, hair accessories, cosmetics, scarves, flip-flops, and gloves.
Their range changes often and is affordably priced, which means that you can stay fashionable throughout the seasons.
Now, this much-loved fashion brand has delved into the world of fragrance with Accessorize perfume, a range of scents created with elegance and style. The range includes Lovelily, Enchanted, Love, and Promise.
Read on for my review of Lovelily, the latest fragrance in the range.
Accessorize Lovelily Packaging.
The outer packaging of this fragrance is all about colour. The box is a vibrant delight of pink, surrounded by petals and leaves.
Once you open the box, you are greeted by an interesting-looking bottle. The clear, hexagonal design of the flacon is complemented by the metallic pink of the neck and a stopper that contains a fabric pink lily flower.
Accessorize perfume: Lovelily fragrance.
Lovelily’s fragrance is made up of raspberry, orange, and bergamot notes, a base of musk and vanilla, all rounded together with a heart of lily of the valley and Jasmine. Accessorize themselves describe the scent as vibrant and sweet.
Accessorize Lovelily What Did I Think?
I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to expect from this Accessorize perfume.
It starts off as a very sharp fruity fragrance. It is almost too sweet for me, to begin with.
However, as my Mum always told me, sometimes you just need to let things mellow, and after a while, it changes to a slightly softer, more floral fragrance with undertones of musk and vanilla which is much more wearable to me.
I personally think this is a good spring fragrance. It may be more aimed at teens and young women due to its sharp, sweet fragrance. It is perfect for wear either day or night.
Its wear-time is moderate. It definitely won’t see you from dawn to dusk, but you won’t need to top it up every bathroom trip.
It offers a good six or more hours of wear.

I used to use the perfume but now I cannot use this because my husband is allergic to the perfumes. ?

It’s such a beautiful bottle. I’ve always been drawn to pretty perfume bottles. My mom used to collect them when I was a child.

Pretty bottle, this sounds lovely! I fell in love with a lipgloss from Accessorize, it had the most amazing scent and the shade was beautiful!
It sounds like a great gift for the younger girls. I’m not fan of floral scents, but fruity ones are okay. Although I’m not one to go for the ones with sharp scents.

What a cute perfume 🙂 I really like that bottle. I have never seen it, but I think I will like the scent because I love fruity and a bit floral scent. I agree that young women and teenagers tend to like more a sweet scent.

I never would of though to look at accessorize for perfume. I love the shape of the bottle, the packaging reminds me of one of the Britney perfumes x

There’s no reason not to try it, it’s that first punch that is really sweet, after that it mellows.

It is one of those bottles you look at and it just makes you smile isn’t it.

This is my first time hearing of this perfume. I DO love the bottle, gorgeous! I actually think I may like this scent, depending on the overall quality and dry down. Body chemistry changes perfume on everyone though so what it smells like on one person could be totally different on another. I will have to look for it locally to me. Thanks for the review!

I was really surprised when I saw the price, such a great amount for the perfume.
Such a cute bottle with lovely packaging and as long as the Vanilla isn’t too strong, it sounds like a great fragrance x
The Vanilla comes though a little at the end but it isn’t overpowering. x

I think I’m gonna have to get my wife to test this first… Was debating getting her some fragrance for Valentine’s but as you said it is more for teens and young women, she might not like it.
Definitely one to try first, I’m sure for some it would be perfect, but I found it very sweet.
