The Scrunchie Shed: Review
Scrunchies are no longer a thing of the past, and have made a huge comeback over the past few years and hands up, who is glad they are back?
Today I share with a scrunchie shop that was recommended to me not long ago and I just had to grab some items to share with you!
The Scrunchie Shed
All about handmaking beautiful scrunchies with sustainable fabrics The Scrunchie Shed is a small business found on Etsy, as well as local markets and stocked by a hair salon in Wallasey as well.
Offering scrunchies made with a huge choice of fabrics and colours, you will soon want one for every outfit once you have visited their store!
Black Gingham Cotton Scrunchie
The Scrunchie Shed kindly added an extra one to my parcel which I claimed for myself in the form of this lovely black gingham 100% cotton scrunchie.
Which meant I got to have a better look and try them out for myself. Made with lovely quality cotton, this particular scrunchie is normal size and has been made to a high standard.
I personally found it held well in my hair and didn’t snag or catch (which some hand bobbles and bands can do) and I really love the huge variety of colours and fabrics within the shop. For instance, as well as cotton; satin, cotton mix, chiffon and other soft fabrics are all found in the range.
Carefully made to try to not leave creases in the hair and while offering a good hold, not be tight and cause headaches, one has to wonder why the scrunchie ever went out style. Plus if you are all about going BIG the XL scrunchie is the perfect addition to your outfit.

As I have to have my hair up all the time for work I try to focus on my hair health in every other aspect so I think the Satin XL scrunchies would be much softer on my hair compared to an elastic hairband!
