  2. It does look beautiful there. I like the trees we have here in Michigan. I liked the trees in Florida too, the big Banyans especially.

  3. I remember when we move from our own house just 100 miles away from my Grandfathers house wherein I stay my whole life living with my Grandpa. Such an emotional feeling but need to join my parents and live with them in our house.

    1. Aw it really is isn’t it – so sad when you leave somewhere that has so many memories for you x

  4. That cathedral is absolutely gorgeous. I live in a very small town and we don’t have anything so grand, but we have lots and lots of history. I’m in the town right next to Plymouth, so we had some of the first settlers here in my town.

    1. Oh wow some amazing history there with you then – it’s fantastic what you can find out about your area sometimes. x

  6. Lichfield looks like a beautiful place! My favorite thing about where I live is that it is close to everything I need for the kids…school, doctors, dentists, shopping…I do wish we had more of a back yard!

  7. Wow that looks beautiful. I have never seen a place like that before. The price converted to canadian is super cheap compared to the houses here. Its like double the cost here and you will need to do renovations even with a house that expensive!

    1. House prices over here are crazy even for a 1 bedroomed flat (appartment) here your looking at around £100,000 and we are far from the highest priced area. x

  8. What a beautiful place to live. I think we all forget to look closely at the places we live. I would never want to leave your town.

    1. I know I do to often – I remember rewalking around the cathedral after not being around it in a long time and it just took my breath away x

    I live OUT in the country, it is peaceful, no traffic,no noise, low / no crime but a long drive to get what you need. I love it. Fresh air, ahh

    1. There’s only 2 things that could entice me away I think the countryside or a beach – I would love to be out in the country away from it all. x

  12. Its amazing isn’t it – it’s fantastic that people decided to redo it all and return it back to some of it’s former glory.

    The Cathedral is amazing, the detailing on the carvings all around the outside is breath taking. x

    I live in sunny Los Angeles and I guess the weather is the best part about it.

  15. What a beautiful cathedral. I love visiting museums and such. Very interesting I would love to visit and get so photos of the cathedral.

  16. This looks like such a charming town! Unfortunately, my husband’s career dictates all of our moves so moving to Lichfield isn’t likely to happen for us, though I certainly want to visit now!

  19. Looks like a beautiful place to live. We live pretty close to beaches here. Closest one takes approx 30 minutes to get to. My kids love the beach.
