Top Summer Accessories
We have been spending the past few days enjoy the sun (or perhaps hiding from it if you’re like me). Our wardrobes might be ready with a host of summer outfits. However, what is the perfect accessory to go with that dress, shorts and t-shirt or whatever else you may love to wear?
Well, today I have some accessory ideas which might put you on the right rather for summer.
Shoes
Let’s be honest shoes can bring a whole outfit together and no matter if you are choosing flip-flops for the beach, the perfect pair of Dr. Martens sandals for lunch with the girls or a pair of high heels for a night out. They can really add the finishing touch.
Personally this summer I am all about sandals that offer support, comfort and style. What’s more, get the right pair and they can be dressed up or down depending on your mood and where you are headed.
Sunglasses
Not only do sunglasses make a stylish accessory for everyone, but they also help keep your eyes healthy. When choosing a new pair make sure you look out for ones that block both UVA and UVB rays. You shouldn’t find yourself needing to pay more for this protection, as thankfully these days it is common in all price ranges.
For those looking to be at the forefront of fashion, this year seems to be all about a range of different styles. From oversized to cateye and square and those which include vibrant coloured lenses.
Jewellery
No outfit is complete without a piece of jewellery. This year is all about a range of statement jewellery pieces, from vibrant ribbed rings to chain necklaces that can be layered or worn on their own.

Tote Bags
I mean let’s be honest what isn’t there to love about a tote bag? Big enough to include everything you need, perfect for organisation and available in a range of textures, sizes and colours. There are even some reversible ones this year, giving two looks for the price of one.
While if you are loving the quilted look which is on trend this year a tote bag is a perfect way to embrace this trend.

It’s summer here all year round and I never step out of the house without my sunglasses and sunscreen.

I love scrunchies and flip flops above all these. And I always it even if it’s not summer. Coz here in Philippines it doesn’t get too cold.
I can’t imagine it not getting that cold – I guess that’s a downside to living in the UK.

I agree about the shoes they really can make an outfit, I got myself some sparkly flip flops the other day and love them. I am lucky now with sunglasses as I treated myself to reactive glasses when I changed mine so I do not have to worry about changing glasses all the time
