  1. I try & have a pamper evening once a week, where I do a hair and face mask and body treatments & put my music on, it’s nice to make you relax & feel pampered especially during these lockdowns with Spas not being open 🙂

  3. My new flat has a teeny tiny shower and now that it’s getting cooler I really wish I had a tub. It is definitely lovely to have a nice spa-like retreat at home to soak and wash away the stress of the day. x

  5. Some great tips here. My mummy hates having clutter in the bathroom especially my bath toys, so she tries to hide them and light candles to relax. Fluffy bath towels help as well x

  6. I love to treat myself to a spa night at home every two weeks or so. I usually will add some lovely relaxing playlist, a delicious scented candle and a fun bath bomb to relax.

  7. I like having a long bath, while enjoying a facial and putting hair mask on my hair for some spa experience at home!

  8. Our bathroom is super tiny so I don’t know that it coul ever feel spa like. I love my bathroom’s color (grays) and I did find a cool shower curtain that matched that has all sorts of spa and relaxation words that I love.

  9. A spa day at home sounds lovely. I always have a candle in my bathroom but never actually light it! I do struggle with baths though as much as I like them for some reason I can never spend longer than 20 minutes in it!

  17. I do a pretty good job of keeping my bathroom clutter free, but it could use a little updating. I love taking a bath with homemade scented bath salts, that’s the best home spa treatment ever!

  21. I can’t believe what a difference clearing the clutter makes. We recently staged our home in order to sell it for a move. We took everything off the bathroom counters, put up matching towels (instead of the usual mismatch), and added a simple flower arrangement. It made me want to stay in the house!

    1. It is amazing how much it changes how the room looks, and how much more relaxing it can make it feel as well.

  22. My bathroom is small, and we painted it a blue that reminds us of tropical vacations. Now to get the shower head changed to one that massages and we’re in business!

    1. We have our bathroom blue as well, there’s something about blue that seems to go well in that area of the home.

  25. We actually just changed the shower head in our bathroom. The new one is much more relaxing and it has different settings.

    1. It really is, I know we all pamper ourselves in different ways but we all need to look after ourselves.

  28. Sadly, I do not have a bath in my bathroom, just a stand up shower. I believe that a shower head can make a huge difference in how you feel and how clean you are.

  33. My secret to a spa like bathroom retreat is lotsa bubbles. Nothing like immersing in a tub full of fragrant bubbles to make me forget the cares of the day.

  34. Rain shower head is always a nice feature. Place to soak, soft music, good book to read, candles burning, essential oils all works for me.

    1. It is a great feature isn’t it – it really makes such a difference I think having a good amount of water coming from your shower head.

  36. I recently totally renovated my bathrooms and I love the spa-like experience when I now enter my bathroom. Simple changes and updates can really turn an ordinary bathroom into a spa retreat. I love these tips!

  37. A glass of wine wouldn’t make one an alcoholic. It depends on the alcohol level. I think anything less than 10% will just be enough to chill in one’s bathroom.
