Sally Loves Wellybix
Sally is most definitely a pooch who loves her treats, sadly however her stomach doesn’t always agree with what she decides is tasty and as such we have to be very careful about what we allow her to actually eat. So when I heard about Wellybix, a handmade dog treat, that is made with love in Teesdale, using only the best ingredients, including herbs from Welly’s owners garden and taste tested by the lovely Welly himself. I just knew it was a good treat to try Sally on.
Sally was kindly sent two packets of Wellybix to try one Chicken with Fresh Thyme and one Beef with Fresh Parsley. You can tell from the moment a pack of Wellybix arrives it has been made with love, as they just look as though they have been hand packed and all neatly finished off with a card about the biscuits tucked into them.
One thing I love about these treats is they really are fresh and there is no nasty preservatives hidden in them to keep them on your shelves for months. In fact all of Wellybix’s treats include: No artifical preservatives, colours, flavour enhancers, salt or sugar. YAY!
Now I won’t deny that Sally loves food, but she does have the things she will go for over others and we had a couple of incidents with Wellybix that make me believe Sally really does love them.
The first time I had left her treat cupboard open, now let me tell you it is filled with all sorts of different things. She could have gone for anything at all, but she decided she did need some Wellybix and went dancing off into the garden with the packet in her mouth.
The second time was just after we had finished taking the pictures, we had been using my parent’s garden as, well, it looks a bit nicer and I dropped the bag with everything in and popped to the loo. As I’m sat there minding my own business all I hear is SALLY, COME BACK HERE apparently she had managed to go all the way through the bags, find her treats and had once again taken them out to the garden with Ash close behind and all this happened in a matter of seconds.
So I do believe that Sally gives Wellybix, a huge paws up from her!
Wellybix treats cost £3.95 a pack and can be brought online from the Wellybix website.
What do you think of the sound of Wellybix, if you have a dog, do you think they might like some?

Your dog is so sweet and she’s beautiful! It looks like she adores these treats.
Thank you so much – she really is such a cutie <3 x
Oh bless her, look at the excitement on her face and the cheeky minx sticking her tongue out x
Hahah I totally didn’t notice the tongue till I was looking at the photos later – perfect timing lol x
Such a great shot of Sally with her tongue out ha… I am forever trying to catch the cats doing just that!
No wonder Sally loves Wellybix it looks like yummy treats for dogs and what a great brand too.
These sounds great, looks like Sally agreed as she ran off with the pack.
I love the name Wellybix! Sounds like Sally really enjoyed these treats if they are the ones she sought out of the cupboard!
We don’t have a dog but I love this yummy treats for the dogs
What an adorable dog and fun pics! Looks like she knows what treats are tasty!
Bless her heart, she looks so old. My mom’s dogs are also treat lovers that have to have as natural as possible. Wellybix sound like they would be a good fit.
She is about 15 (I’ve had her 10 years and they guessed she was about 5 when we got her), you wouldn’t know it sometimes as she can still act like a pup! x
Our dogs are sensitive to most commercial dog treats, so we have to look for natural products like this. I’ll definitely have to pick them up some Wellybix soon!
Wow these are pretty affordable! I will have to get a pack for my dog to try in the future!
Love that they taste good for our pets and are good for them too. Hard to find these days. Thanks for sharing
That price isn’t too bad for them! I shall let my aunty know about these 🙂
I have a bull terrier with a dodgy stomach. I’ve never heard of Wellybix before so will have to go and have a look.
I don’t have a dog myself because I live in a flat but if I did I’d love to give them treats like these x
I don’t have a dog but I can see how happy your dog is with this treat.
Wellybix looks great – no preservatives or other yucky stuff? Perfect! I’d much rather have a few nasty things hiding in them as possible!
Those look like great treats. Are they only available in the UK? I will have to check them out for my own dogs if they aren’t.
My Pip would love these! She’s very motivated by treats haha
Sally obviously enjoys them bless her. Their full of natural ingredients which I like & think any dog lover would enjoy giving to their beloved pets. I would definitely buy these 🙂
Dogs love their treats don’t they? I bet many dogs would love this.
They look yummy – my lizzie loves treats but wont eat any that are too hard
Sally looks absolutely happy and delighted with her wellybix. Seems like its a treat worth checking out for my furball. Seems like she knows what wants and found a way to get it.My little one is quite picky but if Sally likes it, I’ll give them a lookie. xx
These Wellybix treats I am going to have to try. I love that they are homemade from fresh ingredients. Sally is indeed an adorable girl. Thanks for sharing these awesome treats.
My dog is not particular. She’ll eat everything, even if it’s not supposed to be edible. We also have to be careful. These sound like something I’d actually be excited about her eating.
