Sally Loves Wellybix
Sally is most definitely a pooch who loves her treats, sadly however her stomach doesn’t always agree with what she decides is tasty and as such we have to be very careful about what we allow her to actually eat. So when I heard about Wellybix, a handmade dog treat, that is made with love in Teesdale, using only the best ingredients, including herbs from Welly’s owners garden and taste tested by the lovely Welly himself. I just knew it was a good treat to try Sally on.
Sally was kindly sent two packets of Wellybix to try one Chicken with Fresh Thyme and one Beef with Fresh Parsley. You can tell from the moment a pack of Wellybix arrives it has been made with love, as they just look as though they have been hand packed and all neatly finished off with a card about the biscuits tucked into them.
One thing I love about these treats is they really are fresh and there is no nasty preservatives hidden in them to keep them on your shelves for months. In fact all of Wellybix’s treats include: No artifical preservatives, colours, flavour enhancers, salt or sugar. YAY!
Now I won’t deny that Sally loves food, but she does have the things she will go for over others and we had a couple of incidents with Wellybix that make me believe Sally really does love them.
The first time I had left her treat cupboard open, now let me tell you it is filled with all sorts of different things. She could have gone for anything at all, but she decided she did need some Wellybix and went dancing off into the garden with the packet in her mouth.
The second time was just after we had finished taking the pictures, we had been using my parent’s garden as, well, it looks a bit nicer and I dropped the bag with everything in and popped to the loo. As I’m sat there minding my own business all I hear is SALLY, COME BACK HERE apparently she had managed to go all the way through the bags, find her treats and had once again taken them out to the garden with Ash close behind and all this happened in a matter of seconds.
So I do believe that Sally gives Wellybix, a huge paws up from her!

Bless her heart, she looks so old. My mom’s dogs are also treat lovers that have to have as natural as possible. Wellybix sound like they would be a good fit.
She is about 15 (I’ve had her 10 years and they guessed she was about 5 when we got her), you wouldn’t know it sometimes as she can still act like a pup! x
Our dogs are sensitive to most commercial dog treats, so we have to look for natural products like this. I’ll definitely have to pick them up some Wellybix soon!

I have a bull terrier with a dodgy stomach. I’ve never heard of Wellybix before so will have to go and have a look.

My dog is not particular. She’ll eat everything, even if it’s not supposed to be edible. We also have to be careful. These sound like something I’d actually be excited about her eating.
Ooh I think my dog would quite enjoy the chicken ones. She’s a Bichon and it’s not recommended that they eat beef, something to do with their digestive system! Fabulous review, thanks for bringing these to my attention xxx

It sounds like Sally really knows what she likes! I love that they’re homemade too. I personally believe handmade is always the way to go and would opt for that over store bought any day!

If the beef recipe had no chicken or corn, I would get them. My dog has some food allergies that make him so itchy!

Love dog treats that aren’t made with all those artificial flavors and dyes. Our Pug had allergies so store bought ones can cause her to itch so these would be perfect!!

They sound great and Sally looks so happy. I’m always on the lookout for good treats for our pup but he has a very sensitive stomach, so I might give these a try I like the fact that it has no nasty ingredients.
The no nasty ingredients is the absolute best reason to give these a try. And yep, Sally looks very happy!
