Probio7 Life Yogurt Maker Review
PR Sample – I was sent a Probio7 Life Yogurt Maker for consideration on my blog.
Have you been thinking about making your own yoghurt at home? Wondered about how easy it could be? Especially wanted some which helps with that good bacteria? Then the Probio7 Life Yogurt Maker could be something for you to check out.
However what exactly makes this yoghurt maker different from others on the market.
Probiotics

We have all heard that getting probiotics into our diet can help with gut health. This is often done by taking supplements or eating yoghurts that have them added. However, when buying live yoghurt from the supermarket there is no guarantee that the bacteria is still alive, or at a high enough dose.
So with that in mind, Probio7 have come up with a way to make your own probiotic yoghurt in the comfort of your home. During the process, you add a sachet that includes three strains of friendly bacteria, which includes one of the world’s most researched strains: Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG.
They even worked with the Technical University of Munich to verify that each serving would provide a therapeutic dose of probiotics. Meaning each delivers 6 billion clinically researched bacteria to your gut alive.
Jersey UHT milk
As well as the added goodness of the probiotics, Probio7 wanted to make sure the UHT milk they suggested offered its own health benefits.
It was during this search they came across Jersey UHT. This offers the following benefits:
- More calcium and protein than other breeds
- Vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
- More potassium than a banana
- As Jersey milk contains predominantly A2 protein, it is easier to digest than milk from other breeds.
It also helps make delicious creamy yoghurt.
While you don’t have to use UHT milk, if you decide to use fresh milk it is best to boil and cool it first, adding steps to the process. If you are vegan then soya milk can be used instead.

When it comes to the end product, it is delicious and creamy. The fact you can buy or subscribe to refill kits is a useful addition and helps make the reuse of the kit even easier.

What do you think of the sound of the Probio7 Life Yogurt Maker, would you like to try it yourself?

As I am lactose intolerant, I love the sound of the UHT Jersey Milk
I’d love to have this!!
Are the pots dishwasher safe please and can you get extra pots if one breaks or have a set in use and one in the maker ? Can you use any milk in the yoghurt maker ?
You can use any milk, you can even use soya milk or other milk alternatives for those who are vegan. The only thing to remember with using other milk is if it is fresh milk, rather than UHT it needs heating before you use it, as this will help make a richer end product. I believe you can put the pots into the dishwasher, but I would perhaps handwash the plastic lids. I can’t see that Probio7 sells replacements themselves, however, I have found ceramic pots for yoghurt makers on sale so *touchwood* there would be something out there that would fit.
I really love this idea of making your own yogurt and I never heard of a yogurt maker.
It is such a good idea, means you know everything that goes into it and it such a good price as well I was amazed.
I’d love to try this, much better than sugar and sweetner filled yogurts.
Definitely, it is a really interesting machine, I would love to hear what you think if you do try it.
This looks great and much better than the old one I have. I love to make yoghurts and it works out cheaper than buying them.
I was amazed by it only costing £49.99, I really thought it would have cost more to buy!
An excellent Yoghurt Maker which seems easy to use – we must get one
I eat a lot of probiotic yogurt, but had never thought of making my own! I will look in to it!
Definitely worth looking into – I was really surprised how simple to use it is.
this yoghurt maker looks great, it would make a great gift and i love yoghurt
Definitely it is really great value for money as well.
I eat a lot of yoghurt but had not previously thought of making it myself. Thank you for the article.
You’re welcome, it is a great little kitchen gadget and doesn’t take up too much room.
What a great kit, but I hardly ever eat yoghurt
Ah that’s a shame, might make for a present idea for someone who does.
I eat yoghurt but probably not enough to justify making. Sounds great though
It does make the most deliciously creamy yoghurt something really special.
I think I just found the perfect wedding present for my friend. I thought I have seen all kitchen gadgets but this is pretty new to me. With the rise of people taking antibiotics, I think this is a great gadget to have to replenish all the bacteria we’ve lost.
Ahh definitely it is such a great idea – something special to have in the home and it does make a delicious yoghurt.
We eat a lot of yoghurt in our house so it would make sense to use this yogurt maker. I would be happy to give it a go
Definitely, if you eat a lot it is a great idea, plus it helps cut down on plastics as well.
