#Pawhumour: does your pet have it?
I think it is a given that if you have a pet you are going to have 101 silly stories about them – I mean just think about all the cat videos you find doing the rounds of cats doing completely bonkers things.
Sal has always been and will always be a bit of joker, she knows if she prances about and acts the fool she is bound to get attention and therefore makes the best of it a lot! But perhaps the moments that stick out in my mind above all others are the ones when she didn’t even mean to do what she did.
Take the time she did a roly-poly across the back seat of my Dad’s car – I still don’t know how she did it – she was strapped in, but one second she was sat down nicely and the next second she was head over tail and tumbling to the other side.
Another silly moment came when she made friends with the bee. Back in my old flat I had the bed pushed against the wall the window was on and it made a fantastic vantage point for Sal, she would spend all the time she could sitting on it, watching the world go by in Doggy TV format. One day I went in to say hi and there she was sat looking at the window as normal, but next to her was the biggest bee I ever did see. I have no idea how long they had been like it but they obviously didn’t care the other was there.
These days I laugh at the memory and wish I had taken a photo but I won’t lie at the time I panicked and rushed around in a complete dither wondering how I get rid of this bee!
Of course while both the above situations were funny as Sally was unharmed the opposite could have happened, what if she had landed funny or the bee had stung her, that is why pet insurance is so important and recently MORE TH>N have teamed up with the RSPCA and are now giving them £20 for each policy sold and to celebrate they want to hear your #PawHumour moments.
My huskies were just hilarious. I have had belly ache so many times laughing at their antics – me and my husband would laugh until our sides literally ached. Oh, how I miss my furkids.
All our pets have silly moments; The most amusing moment is when Lilly purrs like a cat and demands bed space
We don’t have pets and the main reason for that is the expense of vets bills and insurance.
I would never own a pet without having pet insurance. I’d be absolutely gutted if anything happened to them and I couldn’t afford to help. With owning a pet comes responsibility!

Pet insurance is vital, some vets bills are just frightening. What a good deal that one sounds like, unfortunately we no longer have a pet but we would have been in an even worse situation if we hadn’t had insurance
Aw bless! 🙂 She reminds me of our old family dog (who was pure white) who unfortunately passed away in August of 2012. I also have a funny bee story, our old dog, use to actually try to eat them!
He would always roll on them before trying to eat them.
He always failed.
Pets can be so funny, especially cats and dogs – they are such valued family members and I think it’s really important to have insurance and it’s something you really need to consider before purchasing these humours companions

i think pet insurance is super important .. knowing when something awful may happen you are covered for your pet is a must for me … 🙂
Ny cats are just odd ball so I say they have humour yes !
My mum’s dog is a bit of a live wire and does a wall of death around the lounge if we arrived with the kids (literally)
Dogs are funny creatures – they make friends with the weirdest of animals! Maybe yours was after a nice bit of freshly made honey…
I think insuance is so important when you have a pet, good to know they are kept safe. I love it when pets have comic moments!
My three cats most definitely think they are comedians!
Aww we used to have a funny dog, one time he escaped and walked to our friends shop where he knocked on the door (kinda) and he let him in haha x
I only have one rabbit now but as a kid loved my pets so much.I have to say I am scared of dogs .
Our dog makes us laugh because she’s scared of our cat, even though he is much smaller then she is.
My two dogs always have me laughing. The terrier when he wakes up suddenly by a noise will shake his bedding as if it is the enemy. His face is a cracker too when he hears a squeaky toy on the television.The older dog, well she is funny as she still thinks she is a pup sometimes with how she plays and rolls around. Love them both dearly.
Our dog Baxter is hilarious and regulary has us in fits of laughter. I do take pictures but not sure everyone appreciates it. Insurance is vital with any pet x

I don’t have any pets, but we used to have hens who kept us very amused.
Alvin is just a lazy dog, not a funny dog, but we love him all the same!
I agree pet insurance is very important. We have our Belle insured through Asda and we also have a montly paid plan with the vet that covers her for flea, worming treatments and other things too.
Our cats still have kittenish moments despite being quite old cats these days.
