5 things I would love to do in Miami

There are many places I would love to visit across the world and one of them is Miami; while I have been lucky enough to visit a couple of places in Florida, Miami isn’t one of them, yet one day I hope to get there and spend some time seeing the sights. A few of the places I would love to manage to get to see while there are:
1. Miami Beach
You cannot go to Miami without taking in some of the beaches, apparently if you want a good ice cream then South Beach is a must visit so it has a definitely been bumped to the top of my list. However if you like things a bit different why not head to Muscle Beach and relax while watching other people work out.
2. Miami Seaquarium
This is a place that not only shows animals, but rescues and rehabilitates sea-life from around Miami area, something with is so important for any animal, when in trouble to have access to. Plus they offer the chance to interact with Dolphins and one day I would really love to swim with dolphins.
3. Star Island
This manmade island, features homes many of us can only ever dream of owning, but hey sometimes dreaming can be good so taking a nose around such an island might just lend some ideas for the dreams to come when I drift off to sleep that night.

4. Art Deco District
While tours are on my mind, a must check out is the Art Deco District, famous for its 800 buildings of historical significance, it is an area one would never forget exploring. With so many fabulously designed buildings, there is plenty to see and photograph as you meander around the district.
5. Ocean Drive
This much talked about route through Miami is just somewhere I would love to drive and take in the views, much of it takes you near South Beach, while many Art Deco hotels line the streets nearby meaning it’s almost a tour of the area in itself.
Where would you love to visit in Miami?

I went to Miami not that long ago and stayed on Ocean Drive 🙂
It’s a great place and South Beach is definitely my favourite, the beaches are amazing and the water is so warm! You can also hire bikes for the day so you can cycle along the front!
Just gonna throw out there it’s somewhere I wouldn’t want to go for more than a few nights. Maybe I just didn’t stay there long enough to fully embrace it, but if you’re planning a trip to America, I’d go to other parts of Florida too or it might get a bit boring!
The Art Deco district is so pretty and very lively in the evenings. The shopping is also incredible. Just a bit of insight! Hope you get the chance to go 🙂 xx
We have never been to Miami – if we were going to America it would have to be Orlando! Kaz x
I haven’t been to Miami since I was a little kid – we got to go to Disney World and other Florida attractions, too. Would love to visit again now I’m older!

I’ve passed through Miami and LOVED it. The Art Deco buildings are just fab and often have vintage cars parked outside too, the beach is long and white and has the cutest beach huts on it and the yachts in the marina are beyond your widest dreams. I’d love to go back another time to spend more time there.
Even though I’ve been to Florida, Miami isn’t on my hit list of places to go… the Keys on the other hand…!
Love the sound of all the art deco. We might end up there next year so interesting to read.
Miami has beautiful buildings, the Art Deco district and Ocean drive is well worth seeing. I highly recommend going on a boat and seeing Star Island. Great photos by the way! 😉
