Organic Aromas – Raindrop – Nebulizing Diffuser Review
I have spoken many times about my love from home fragrance and trying new products within that area.
From new scents of candles and reed diffusers to all sorts of gadgets which help you fill your home with a wonderful scent.
Late last year I was contacted by Organic Aromas, a company who offers a different type of electric diffuser, from any I have tried before.
Organic Aromas.
Organic Aromas was made with the goal of finding the best way to diffuse essential oils.
They are a company who believe in the benefits of using pure oils. They want to bring everyone to a better way of diffusing oils, in a way that helps keep them in their most pure state.
Over the past 8 years, they have worked on making not only a diffuser that helps you make the most of your oils but one which looks incredible as well.
Organic Aromas – Raindrop – Nebulizing Diffuser.
To try out Organic Aromas I was sent the Raindrop – Nebulizing Diffuser. This comes in a choice of light wood or black wood.
As you can see from the photos it is such a unique looking item. It is something that would look at home in your lounge, office or even bedroom.
The top part is of course made of glass and you do need to be slightly careful how you put it together, however clumsy so and so here, has managed to keep it all in one peace so far.
The Raindrop Diffuser is unique in the fact it uses no water or heat to diffuse the oil.
Making it a lot safer than some other alternatives. It also keeps the oils in their natural state, having not been mixed with anything.
The Raindrop contains a light feature. This works on a touch sensor and can be used with the light both on and off.
When it comes to scent, you can turn the diffuser up and down to suit your personal tastes. This is controlled by the volume style switch on the base.
To keep energy usage low, the Raindrop Diffuser works on a cycle off; 2 minutes on and 1 minute off. Shutting itself off completely after 120 minutes of use.
For those who are interested in the science behind it, it uses the Bernoulli principle; which is a theorem of fluid dynamics.
What Do I Think?
I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting myself into when this first arrived.
I completely admit I looked into the box and thought what, how! However, it was so simple to set up and once put together, all you need to do is add oils when you wish to use it.
Oils are added directly into the glass chamber, with 20 – 25 drops suggested for each use.
I think this at first shocked me, as it is a lot more than I am used to using in other diffusers. However, it does give higher scent pay off and of course, leaves your oils undiluted.
I can in some ways see this being a downside for some, as if you are using this for long periods of time, you are going to use up oils quicker.
So it is definitely something to keep in mind when looking to buy such a device.
When it comes to maintenance, it actually not that bad. It is suggested that once a week assuming you use it for 2 hours a day, you do a quick clean of the tubes. To do this you need plain rubbing alcohol and you simply add it as you would the essential oil and leave to run for 5-10 minutes. A deep clean is suggested once a month on top of the regular clean.
Overall I really love this idea, from the look of the diffuser to the fact it is quickly getting a lasting scent out there. I can’t really see anything to dislike about it.
I have a feeling this is going to become a popular way to diffuse oils.
Pet Warning.
As I am a pet-friendly person (although pet-less at the moment). I just want to put forward a little warning; If you have pets make sure any essential oils you use in a home with animals is safe for them. Essential oils just like in humans, can be very calming and relaxing for our pets. However sadly some can also be toxic, so always do your research and know what you using is safe.

The raindrop diffuser would be my choice as it sounds wonderful!
The Hand-carved Dragon one looks amazing, but the others look great too.
And I would have it in the bedroom mostly, although would be handy in the kitchen during summer, with the right scents, to deter flies.
I really like the hand carved Buddha, I would use it in the hall where it would permeate through to the lounge and dining room.
My favourite is the Raindrop and I think it would be ideal for the bedroom.

The Christmas Tree one is such a great ornament and useful diffuser. Perfect for the lounge at the most magical time of the year.
I adore the Christmas tree one. It is just the right colour for our living room and would make my heart sing every time I got it out for Christmas. It would be lovely to use festive fragranced oils in it too.
I think I would go for the Radiance Essential Oil Diffuser I just like the tought of the mood light and I would put it in the bedroom
