Ava May Aromas Review

I personally like to have a home that smells nice and to do this I often have a candle or wax melt lit. This is alongside utilising items like diffusers and room sprays. Today I am bringing you an introduction to Ava May Aromas, a brand decided to home fragrance.
Ava May Aromas
A leaping bunny approved company Ava May Aromas or AMA specialise in designer dupe fragrances. While they are best known for their wax melts, they have a whole range of home fragrance items including; diffusers, candles, room sprays and oils.
They very kindly sent me a range of their items to try out, which I have decided to share with you both via review and a small giveaway as well.
AMA Wax Melts
I was kindly sent three fragrances in wax melts, Fairy Soft, Baby Powder and Dark Opium. I decided to try out Fairy Soft and Baby Powder for myself.
All of the wax melts are hand-poured with each wax melt pack offering around 24 hours of fragrance. It is suggested you burn them in 4-hour blocks, however, you can, of course, reheat them until the fragrance is gone.
The wax melt packs are beautifully packaged in recyclable plastic containers, each one containing 6 cubes. Each pack is finished off with a blue box and charm.
Baby Powder is one of those fragrances I’m always drawn to, fresh and clean it is something that can be used at any time. While Fairy Soft is a clean scent that is reminiscent of a certain washing brand. Each of these wax melts fills the room with fragrance and allows you to quickly fill the area with a fragrance when needed.
Wax Melts are a great way to try out new fragrances as well as offering a quick burst of fragrance to the room.

AMA Diffusers
I am a huge fan of diffusers, however, finding a good one can at times feel hard. Ava May Aromas offer a range of refills alongside some beautiful ceramic diffusers both in the round shape you see above and a teardrop shape.
The fragrance I have been trying is Sanctuary Spa and it smells incredible. I’ve popped the diffuser just inside the kitchen and seem to have placed it in such a good position that you can smell it as you enter the hall from the back and as you enter the kitchen.
This wonderful blend contains notes of bergamot and citrus alongside vanilla, jasmine, patchouli and sandalwood. Which for me is a fragrance I would love to experience all around the home.
The diffuser refills come in at £15 (and with the amount of fragrance I’m experiencing with it I’m so impressed). While the diffusers themselves come in at £25.
AMA Candle.
I can’t seem to find the Baby Powder fragrance I received in a two-wick candle on the website and there are a number of fragrances being discontinued of which Baby Powder features in the three-wick version so I assume it has perhaps sold out.
However, there is still a beautiful range of fragrances available both within the discounted section and those that will be kept such as; Fresh Breeze, Saffron Pepper and Oud and English Pear and Freesia.
Personally, I felt like the Baby Powder candle offered a more subtle fragrance than the wax melt version, yet it still easily fills the room with its fresh powdery scent. As well as offering a beautiful flickering ambience with the flame as well.
The candle range has been made from soy wax here in the UK and is presented in a glass-branded candle jar.
A Two Wick Candle comes in at £18.

I like diffusers but I find they lose their fragrance too quickly. I bought one from John Lewis as a gift and it faded far too quickly especially considering the cost!
Make sure you turn the sticks every few days, that can really help!
I personally prefer diffusers to candles and have been looking into what sort to get. The Sanctuary Spa one you describe sounds like it’d be perfect.
It is a really nice one and lasted for a while to – I find so many you can’t really smell them but this one you can.

I love a fresh linen smell and I love the design. It would look and smell lovely in my bedroom.
Grapefruit, lavender and Amber candle, the combination sounds gorgeous and I love anything with lavender fragrance
The products all look fab but i love the sound of the English Pear & Freesia Candle. Sounds lovely!
