Nixplay Seed Wifi Cloud Frame: Review
Many moons ago, I had a digital photo frame and I hardly used it, for two main reasons 1) it was a nightmare to update, I’d need to remember to have the computer on and update the card in it and 2) it was really quite pixelated when it came to quality. However, since then a lot of things have changed and digital photo frames can now do a whole host of amazing things, as well as show your pictures as clear as day.
Nixplay are perhaps a leader in digital frames and they have taken things to a whole new level with the Nixplay Seed. Let’s first of all wipe out the idea of hard to update frames as this photo frame updates in real time. It all works thanks to your homes WiFi, with the ability to email photos directly to the frame and of course because you can email photos to it, so can your friends and family, allowing them to share with you all those special moments directly into your home. Just think of the times you could make someone smile when they are down, by sending a silly selfie. Or the times you can update someone in real time, of that event, they just couldn’t make it to.
So how do you store all those amazing photos that not only you take, but others as well? Well each Nixplay account comes with 10GB of free cloud storage and each playlist you create can hold up to 1000 photos.
What about the display? Well with the photos playing in 16:10 High Resolution IPS Display on the 7in version and 4:3 High Resolution IPS Display on both the 8in and 10in version, your pictures look as clear they did on the device you originally took them on.
To me the Nixplay Seed has been a complete revolution in digital photo frames, not just because it offers a simplicity that no others have before, but also because it has shown me that a digital photo frame is the way to go. Allowing you to easily show off all your favourite pictures at the touch of a button.
Oh and if the whole update by wifi, fantastic display wasn’t enough, the Nixplay Seed is also controlled by remote, so you can easily switch between playlists, skip photos or hunt out that special photo to show people.

I remember a media company gave me a digital frame before and I so love it. I put it on my working table to continuously watch it switch photos. Now, I cant even find the frame. We relocated and I cant remember if it was even packed carefully.
this is really cool! I would love to give my grandmother something like this, since she has so many photos to share. Would be great for our holiday get-togethers!

I love technology like this! We have around 484938 million pictures of our boys, and there’s no way they would fit on the digital picture display we currently have!

My family had a digital photo album and I am so not tech savvy that I never knew how to work it. This seems so much easier to work with and a great way to showcase a lot more photos

This is totally next level. I also have a digital picture frame and I loved it. Then I had baby #2 and took the frame home to update and and almost five years later it is still at home and yet to be updated.

I love these things…my Mom has something similiar and it’s really fun to watch in the living room. I like how you can email photos to this particular model.

Ha! My digital picture frame sits in a box precisely for the reasons yours did. I thought it was just me. Now that my son is going to college next year, this is something I am going to look into getting for him.

I used to share photos to my MILs frame. It was easy and we both loved it.

I’ve never had a digital photo frame before. And although I’ve seen a lot in the past, I’ve never considered getting one for the house. This is a bit different though, it has a lot more features than your average digital photo frame.

I’ve heard of these, my grand parents had one if i’m not mistaken. it’s great and entertaining. Makes the guest laugh and reminisce over moments passed.

I remember back in the day when the Kodak digital photo frame was a big hit. I am so glad that digital photo frames have come a long way. This is my first time hearing about the nixplay, but I going to have defiantly check it out.

I have never had a digital photo display before. I gifted my MIL one many years ago and I was of the same mindset of you- it wasn’t that great and it made me sweat every time I visited her because she always wanted me to update it.
Haha they were awful weren’t they such a hassle, but I’ve updated this one multiple times already as its just a matter of emailing a single photo, or doing a drag and drop update on the computer when I’m online and bingo it shows up. x

I remember having a digital photo frame back in the day. I never could figure out how to update that thing. I love that there’s a new version that’s simple and much improved overall.
