Summer Tails

It is strange to think that summer is almost over and autumn is on the way. However, I am sure many of you have the most wonderful memories of summer fun and if they happen to include a pet, well then Argos Pet Insurance have a competition you should probably get entering.
With their Summer Tails competition they are giving away a £100 Argos vouchers. To enter you need to share your favourite summer pet picture with them on Twitter or Facebook and keep your fingers crossed you might be picked for the final round. So what has Sal been up to this summer?
Well other than barking at everyone who goes past, gobbling up her food and leaving lots of fur around the place. She has mostly been occupied with the move. She absolutely loves her new home and is almost like a completely different dog, with a spring in her step that was missing in the old flat. It has been so lovely to see that sparkle come back that she had been missing and everyone else who knows her has been noticing the change as well.
We are yet to go on holiday, though it is coming soon and of course Sally is coming with us (how could we leave her behind) and I’m actually really looking forward to it – getting out in the forest, enjoying the quiet and just being able to relax if even for a few days, sounds like complete bliss at the moment. While, Sal will love all the forest walks and animal watching she can do from the villa windows – watch out though deer, she does like to bark at you!
Summer as a whole for us all has been busy (honestly how long can a move take you, think we hit the 3 month mark almost), but it has most definitely been worth it. We are all so much better for living in a different location and atmosphere and with relaxing times ahead, we can hopefully up the energy levels and be ready to spring into autumn and enjoy perhaps one of my favourite seasons.

Summer is always about fun and I agree every year leaves with lots of great memories. Sal looks cute and it is good to see how much you love your dog as they become a part of your family!

We just recently adopted a Lab puppy. Named her Luna Lovegood. Didn’t really get up to much this summer, though.
Aww I bet she is a cutie and I love the name, wonder if she would get on with Dobby and Sock lol x
I haven’t tried going on a holiday trip with a pet. It sounds like your dog is enjoying her new home.
We didn’t when we first had her, but now we take her more often that not, means I don’t worry about her. x

Our fur baby spent the summer with a very short “fur-cut.” It is easier for him (a Shih Tzu) to sport a shorter cut to keep him from being dehydrated in the summer heat. We have been taking him with us on road trips and got him a new pet bed that he absolutely loves. Your dog Sal is beautiful. Maybe if we had a larger yard, we’d consider a medium to large size dog too.

What a cutie! It’s nice that she’s loving your new house, and that she’s not having a difficult time adjusting. Most pets have a hard time and it can be tough for the rest of the family.
I was really worried as she did find the last move hard, this one you would think she had always been here which is lovely. x
Moving must be stressful but I am so glad that Sally is feeling more herself in her new place. She is so cute too.

She adores it- we went at the weekend and she had a wonderful time in the forest and even got to bark at some deer 😉 lol x
We did a lot this summer! We traveled to Brazil, Virginia, LA, Orlando (Disney)! It was one of my busiest summers ever….

We have a St Bernard and summer is probably not his favorite season. He prefers the snowy cold of winter and hates getting outdoor showers during the summer. .it would make a good photo though!

We didn’t do as much as we wanted this Summer. We did go camping a couple of times and went to an amusement park.

My summer was spent looking after my baby. We were also able to attend to a number of blogging events which I miss now because has just started and I am needed now by my boys more than ever.

We did a lot this summer as well. It’s hard to believe that it’s coming to an end. I love the season of Fall. It’s my favorite!

That’s great that you get to take your Sally with you on holiday. I bet she would be lonely without you otherwise.

Summer passed so quickly for me this year. I’m still having a hard time believing the kids have already been back in school for a couple of weeks. That pic is absolutely adorable!

My summer is always the same. Go to work and mow the lawn. It’s always so much fun. LOL

I love Sal! Our dogs love the summer. They have recently gotten a taste of pool living and they love it. Any water is their kinda thing!
We tried to buy Sal a paddling pool once, she wouldn’t go anywhere near it – even if I was stood in it! She loves wild water though. x
Sal is such a cute little pup. I bet moving is such a weird experience for a dog, since you can’t explain it to them.

We did a lot this summer! We traveled to Michigan and California and over spring break we went to South Africa! We love to travel! You dog is ADORABLE! I can’t wait to get another dog!

Sally is such a cutie pie! Moving can be so stressful, but I’m glad that you and Sal love your new home. It’s been a busy summer here and I’ll be spending the week of Labor Day at the beach, so that will be a fun goodbye to summer.
