LOV Flowers – Letterbox Flowers: Review
There is nothing quite like having fresh flowers in your home. Or at least in my mind, there isn’t. Personally, I find them uplifting, brightening and just all around something that makes me smile. So when LÖV Flowers got in touch I have to know more.
A couple of weeks ago I put out a post saying how I was struggling, something which has been a bit of a theme this year, especially since I was in the hospital. To my surprise, I was sent a couple of beautiful bouquets of flowers from LÖV Flowers.
So today I thought I would share with you this “flower through the post” company.
LÖV Flowers
So who are LÖV Flowers?
With a heavy Scandinavian influence flowing through everything they do, from their floral arrangements to the name, which is an abbreviation of the founder’s surname; Eklöv, which means oakleaf. This means the breakdown to LÖV, therefore, means leaf. Apparently, it is common that traditional Scandinavian surnames are often influenced by nature.
LÖV Flowers offer a range of services. From their letterbox flowers, which are made to be delivered no matter if you are at home or not straight through your door. To their bespoke services perfect for weddings and events.
Unsurprisingly they have a huge love for the environment. As such they look to make sure their bouquets come with as little environmental impact as possible. To do this they work with local suppliers. In fact, everything from their boxes to ribbons has been sourced here in the UK. With much of the packaging is either recyclable or compostable.
While, due to the fact they run purely online, they are able to make sure they have no flower wastage as well. As they buy in specifically for each order.
The Tyra
If you are looking for a bouquet that is both timeless and fragrant then The Tyra could be for you.
This bouquet includes 19 stems which are made up of pink avalanche roses and fragrant eucalyptus, alongside some flowers which beautifully compliment the roses, to fill out the bouquet.
The Tyra comes in at £39.50.
The Freja
If you are after a bouquet that has the WOW factor and offers something just a bit special. Then the Freja could be for you.
This particular bouquet offers 18 premium stems. Which includes a mix of peach avalanche roses, pink sweet avalanche roses, lavender campanulas, pink snapdragons and eucalyptus.
The Freja comes in at £44.50.
Overall Thoughts of LÖV Flowers
I really like the idea of flowers being able to be delivered through the letterbox. I have been at both the sending and receiving end when flowers have spent time waiting in a delivery office and it isn’t good.
Having them delivered in a format that means they can be posted through the door means as long as you are around and not on holiday, they are going to be attended to in time.
The flowers come well packaged, in fact, it feels like opening a gift as you open up the packaging. The flowers seem like they have been placed in a way that will cause the least damage. With the most delicate flowers having protective nets around them.
Alongside the flowers, you will also find a care guide and flower food. Which will help you make the most of your blooms.
For me, if you don’t know someone will be in when the postman knocks, but know they will be around within 24 hours, then flowers through the letterbox such as those from LÖV Flowers are a really good idea.

Flowers that are packaged so they can be delivered through a letter box. It’s such a brilliant idea and I just hope whoever came up with it has made a fortune from it! I think you’d have to call it ‘thinking outside the box’!

This is such a great idea as a gift for a friend or loved one, particularly if they are going through a bad period. Should we go into lockdown again (which I hope not!), then I shall certainly consider this.

I do love roses, I am a huge fan of letter box flower deliveries as you do not have to worry if someone is going to be in, Many times it has beena military operation to get flowers delivered and make sure they are home
It makes a big difference, doesn’t it? So many times I’ve had something not arrive as someone isn’t home and it’s like oh no!

Gorgeous flowers! I live in Denmark and I can say that these bouquets look like the ones we can buy everywhere in this little Scandinavian country… even the grocery stores have lovely flowers!
