  8. This year has been so tough for so many people. Having such a major change of routine is anxiety-inducing for many of us.

  9. Oh gosh, this pandemic really change our lives and I think because of that wearing a face mask is a must and one of the most important essentials that we have in our house. Hope you feel better soon.

  10. I have a face mask with a clear plastic panel so people can see my lips. As I am deaf it helps promote the importance of lip reading , masks are a nightmare for the deaf community. We cannot lip read plus the elastic around the ears pulls our hearing aids off!

    1. These are such a good idea – I was worried about them fogging up (like I said on Facebook) I might have to get some just so I know I can be more inclusive.

  11. I work in a GP surgery and have found that a lot of people now think the pandemic has passed and everything should be back to ‘normal’ (whatever that is!). We are taking a lot of verbal abuse which is really beginning to get me down, and if they continue with that attitude, it’s more likely to create a second wave as they are no longer taking precautions. So pretty fed up generally….

    1. That is so horrid 🙁 I am so sorry you are having to go through that it isn’t fair on you at all.

  12. The area where we live has been put on stricter lock down measures until August 18. It makes me envious to read about how other countries have done so much to prevent community spread. Until we flatten the curve, I will have to live with anxiety everyday.

    1. Oh no I am so sorry you are going through that. It isn’t fair at all on anyone – it’s a shame people aren’t trying to be careful for the sake of others.

  13. We went to Alton Towers last week and although you don’t need to use a mask to walk around you have to wear them on rides. I really struggled.

    1. That’s good I think distance learning should stay for a while. Though I do realise some children aren’t coping so well with it.

    1. Thank you so much, it really is crazy – I have a feeling we will be going on for a while to go.

  19. I thinks people are getting used to face coverings and have now almost become a fashion accessory with all the different styles , prints and colours. Who had imagined that we would go through such a difficult phase in our lives. I think most people are just getting used to this new routine and I think even when this passes we will still be in good habits for sanitizing and hand washing.

  20. I’m plodding along that’s all I feel we can do right now. I’m def going to take part in this too so will link up.

  21. I like your face mask! I have bought myself a few personalized ones for fun. I figure they’ll be around for a while, so why not?

    1. Definitely I think we are going to have to wear them long term so it’s nice to have some different choices.

  22. I’m struggling a little with the masks at the moment, I find Im actually touching my face more than I usually would and I struggle to breathe, but I guess it’s just a case of getting used to it.

I got super excited when I saw your mask as I thought you’d had a BSB (Backstreet Boys) mask made haha!!

    1. Yes, I’ve noticed this – I am always trying to readjust it when I am wearing it.

Haha that is so funny I hadn’t even thought of that.
