Let’s Talk About Mums This Mother’s Day [2023]
With Mother’s Day now only a few days away, I thought it was a great time to come up with some reasons my mum is awesome, and some last-minute gift ideas.
I am sure many of you may remember the fact that I am adopted. However, just because we are not blood-related, it doesn’t make my mum any less special.
In fact, perhaps it makes her even more so.
After all, not everyone could take on a child they didn’t birth and love them unconditionally, even when they are rude, unruly, and very mentally ill through their teenage years.
My mum is one of the people I can talk to about anything. No matter how my health is, she’s always up for a natter and to help me get through the day.
Sometimes it can be hard knowing just how to treat your mum when it comes to Mother’s Day.
What would they like to do?
Is it a day out, a relaxing time, or perhaps just a chat at home with a cup of tea?

My mum loves all the usual things, chocolates flowers and candles. She is quite easy to buy for but it’s always nice to come up with new ideas.

Yes Mums are the best and should be treated – every day of the year if you ask me but either way these are all wonderful gifts – I had a nice magazine so can’t complain but would of loved the bath salts too

My mum isn’t much of a bath products person, however I’m a mum too, so perhaps it’s me that I should be treating since I love them.

It is so important to empower our moms to take care of themselves. And that also means that we, as mothers, need to take care of ourselves too. I think a spa day with my mom sounds pretty great for Mother’s Day this year!

The body wash just looks like it smells heavenly. I always love any good scented ones be it perfume, body wash or hand cream.
There is something about a scented body lotion that can really uplift and change your mood isn’t there.
