Eye Of Horus Sheba Mystical Goddess Eye Shadow Palette: Review
I came across Eye Of Horus last year and became an instant fan of their Goddess Mascara (which still is, in my books a must have for all make up bags). So when I was approached and asked if I would like to try one of their new eye shadow palettes, I knew I couldn’t say no.
Now I normally go for browns and creams when it comes to eye shadow and while on the whole the Sheba Mystical Goddess Eye Shadow Palette, sticks to that trait it adds one beautiful, different colour to the mix.
The Eye of Horus Sheba Mystical Goddess Eye Shadow Palette takes its inspiration from the moon and sun and uses a deep and mystical plum colour to capture the beauty of Egypt.
All of the palettes coming out from Eye of Horus at the moment feature three different colours and each take inspiration from a different part of Egypt to draw together a trio of beautiful colours.
The Sheba Mystical Goodness Palette includes the following three colours:
Artifact – Creamy Beige Metallic (light)
Enchantress – Peach Matte (medium)
Royal Abyss – Rich Deep Purple Metallic (dark)
I was amazed by how pigmented these colours are, the deep metallic purple needs little help to stand out, however if you do like your colours richer, adding a little water to the mix when it comes to any Eye Of Horus eye shadow can help intensify the colour.
There are so many looks you can create with these three colours, you just need to let your imagination run wild, however personally I love one of the looks Eye of Horus recommend themselves. Starting at the inner corner of your eye apply the deep purple, over the middle of the lid use the lightest shade and then for the the outer side of your lid the middle shade. It is just a little different to what I normally go for, without being such a huge change.
The Eye of Horus Sheba Mystical Goodness Palette is available from their website where it costs £22.50.
What do you think of the look of this palette, would you use it?
