Dreaming of Summer – Swimsuit Roundup
All that talk about different holidays on Monday got me dreaming of some time away in the sun, after all, I seem to have spent the last few days as a living icicle, an issue which has taunted me since my fibromyalgia diagnosis. So with the idea of winter sun and dreaming of summer coming our way I have put together some of my favourite ideas for swimsuits this year.
One thing I learned last year about swimsuits was sometimes looking outside of your normal box can really surprise you and offer up a new idea of what really is the perfect suit for you.
Gottex Star Fame Square Neck One Piece
Normally I wouldn’t go for something that is quite so patterned or something with a square neck. However, the contrast between white and black really drew my eye to this suit and it is definitely something I could see slipping into a suitcase.
Charmline Rainbow Concert One Piece
If you are someone who loves colour then this beautiful swimsuit might be for you. Personally, I can imagine it working wonderfully on a tropical beach, surrounded by palm trees, blue sea, sand, perhaps the odd coconut and this beautiful rainbow of a swimsuit.
Gottex Profile Tutti Frutti Skirted Bandeau One Piece
As someone who isn’t too keen on my thighs, I have to admit I try and stick to swimsuits that have a skirt, as they help me feel just a little more confident in what I am wearing. This one in particular also offers ruching that will help distract the eye from any areas you may personally see as a problem.
Gottex Profile Illuminate Sports High Neck One Piece
For those who perhaps want to take the swimming side of being on holiday a little more seriously, be it in the hotel pool or the sea. Then this swimsuit seems to cross the lines of being both, great for more serious swimming as well as looking stylish.
So there are a few swimsuit ideas I think might be perfect for this year, but what you do think of them? Do any, in particular, take your fancy?

I can’t wait for a bit of sun! I love the pink swimdress personally, it looks like it would be very flattering for both stomach and thighs (which is definitely what I need!). I usually wear a plain black swimsuit and I might be adventurous this year and buy something with a bit more colour.
It is so nice isn’t it, definitely something that would be a bit more flattering, though I could probably be with it being in a different colour I’m not particularly a pink person lol.

The Gottex Profile Illuminate Sports High Neck One Piece is my favorite! So cute. I know I’m in the minority but I LOVE winter and the colder weather (summer is my least favorite season).

Last year I tried out a one piece for the first time ever. This year I’m going to get off my lazy tail and work out a little so I can comfortably get back in my two pieces.

Those are all cute suits! I am not much of a swimmer, but both my kids are on swim team, so they spend many, many hours at the pool. It would be nice to have a cute suit for myself!
I have to admit neither of my parents were keen swimmers but I used to love it when I was younger, always in the pool.

I am right here with you! I love summer and i would so wear swimswear all day everyday if I can. My favorite is the black and white with square neck. I completely agree with your statement regarding it. I picked it becaue it’s feminine, sexy, yet modest!

I love that swimsuits are more in style nowadays. Never was a big fan of bikinis. (Although it like literally doesn’t matter to me^^)

I love the first one, it could have been perfect for the holiday I just returned from, in Mexico. It was so hard finding a bathing suit in the shops in December, I wish I would have bought one online.

I really like that Gottex Profile Tutti Frutti Skirted Bandeau One Piece. Not the color so much, I prefer blues when it comes to swimsuit but I love that skirt on that suit. Oh Summer, come quickly. This winter has been a beast.
I think I would probably prefer it if was blue, but the design of it is just right for me.
These are all such lovely swimsuits. I’d wear any of them. I’m a fan of one pieces. I rarely do two pieces anymore.
I have to admit I’ve always felt more comfortable in a one piece, I did a lot of swimming as a child though so I guess I was used to it.
Hopefully, this winter will go by quickly and summer will be here sooner. These are some great swimsuits for summer.

I found myself sucking in my tummy as I read this! 🙂 I don’t like my inner thighs so I always go for a skirted suit. The Tutti Fruitti suit is calling my name. I love the color, the design – I love it all! Ruching always helps!
