  1. Such fun infographics. I didn’t know ‘Instagrammed cars’ is a thing. LOL. I love my car and for me it’s not only a necessity, it’s also my big girl toy. 🙂

  2. It was interesting to know about these facts of cars and Instagram. On Instagram I am looking for totally different things.

  3. Great tips. I love cars, especially the old and antique ones. But I don’t usually go to instagram to check out automotive.

  4. Thanks for this information, I never photographed my cars. Thanks for sharing the Instagramed car list.

  5. I’m absolutely obsessed with my 2019 Toyota RAV4 XLE. I got it in the blue flame color and it STANDS OUT!

  6. I am surprised that a Honda Civic is such a popular car to photograph. I have a minivan, so I won’t be taking pictures of my car anytime soon 🙂

  7. I love driving. Having a car is also great for independence and freedom! I have never owned an insta worthy car though

  8. Although I don’t really like driving, I do like the freedom driving gives me. My husband loves old cars and trucks finally has one on the road, it is a ’51 Chevy pickup. It is in rough shape, but it is fun to ride around in. (And a little terrifying wondering if we’ll break down somewhere.)

  9. I bet you’re really missing your car – it must be tough losing the ability to drive even for just a few weeks. I’m still having driving lessons and I can’t wait to pass!

  10. My car is definitely not Instagram worthy but I have shared this with my brother. He has a whole Insta dedicated to his car and has been asking how to take better photos for it.

  11. That most IG’ed cars are something. LOL thank for the info since I am not that updated regarding them.

  12. We just bought a new car after having our last one for 12 years and it is so good to be in something new again. Mich x

  13. I instagram my car but only from the inside. That’s an interesting infographic about the top cars that appear on instagram!

  14. I don’t actually think I’ve ever really taken a picture of my car even though it’s very pretty. But like you a car to me is just a means to get from A to B x

  15. I have to have a car to get around, public transportation isn’t safe where I live. I have always had one, so can’t imagine living without one. Especially with children I feel safer knowing I can rely on my vehicle in an emergency.

  16. These are some great tips! I’m always looking for ways to take better photos. We generally just trade our vehicles to the dealership when we’re trying to sell them, so we don’t need to take photos on our own.

  17. For me a car was always a way to get from point A to point B. However, I just got a brand new SUV and it makes me SO proud!

  18. Although we have two cars, I’m not really into cars at all! As long as it gets us from A to B I’m happy!

    1. I’m with you – I mean sometimes I look at a car and think it looks nice, but I’m definitely not someone who knows much about them.

      1. I had to purchase my first car and the wait it took to get in a car was daunting. I guessed that the Audi series would be on top IG cars list

        1. Haha yes some of them are guaranteed to be on the list aren’t they. Though some are a surprise.

  19. I admit I meet a lot of IG car posts, but I struggle to comment on them and understand them!

  20. I have had my car for 15 years and although it’s had a few small scrapes I still think it looks great and wouldn’t know what I’d do without it!

    1. I’ve had mine since I passed my test in 2010, but it was a preowned so it’s got a fair few years on it now lol.

  21. Right now my white car is completely covered in yellow pollen, so I wouldn’t dare photograph it, lol. But when I get it washed, I’ll use your tips to take Instagram photos of it. I’m so sorry about your temporary driving ban, I can’t imagine how hard that would be. I love my car and being able to drive when I want to.

    1. Good luck with taking some Instagram photos. It is driving me insane haha! Downside of living in a little village I guess as well.

    2. I don’t know where I would be without my car. I had to go 6 months without one a few years ago and it was horrible.

  22. one time i was without a car and it was SO WIERD to not be able to go anywhere that i needed too ha- its interesting for sure to not have that luxury that we dont think of!

    1. It is hard isn’t it – I mean I don’t get to go out much anyway due to my health but at least I normally have the option lol.

  23. We live in the countryside. Having a car to go anyplace is a necessity. I would find not driving very hard

  24. We’ve been car-less for the last 6 months, and I have to say I have not really missed it. I don’t leave the house much, and when I do I either walk or take the bus. I have a free bus & train pass for Mersey Travel, which is really helpful. I’ve even gone as far as Chester for free. However, my husband is less keen on not having a car, and regularly complains when he gets caught in the rain walking to / from the train station. He is now talking about getting a car again, but we will have to see if we can justify it financially or not.

    1. Ekk I can imagine that cars aren’t right for everyone. I used to do OK without one for many years, I love public transport, with my health these days it just isn’t viable though to rely on it.
