  1. These are great tips for the focuses of the interior design of a bedroom. I do know the furniture and accessories are important to any room. The bed and pillows can improve how a room feels. Thanks for sharing the tips.

  3. Great post, my 2 daughters share a bedroom & they’ve been nagging to have their bedroom redecorated & they have chosen different colour blue shades to paint the walls. I was thinking it might be too cold looking but in reading your post that the colour blue is thought to slow the heart rate, as well as even reducing blood pressure & the average amount of sleep people get in a blue room amounts to 7 hours 52 minutes! that certainly works for me 🙂

  5. The right color palette and appropriate furniture are important. These are 2 things often overlooked by people when decorating their homes / their rooms. If done right and if both factors are carefully thought out, you’ll be surprised at how the right color palette can make a small room look bigger.

  6. It’s a really good point to consider your bed as the focal point in a bedroom. Making decor choices based on your bed makes sense and is exactly how I’m going to approach my bedroom renno!

  9. I will admit that my bedroom has always been the last room where I have designed and made it a a relaxing place. Honestly I relax on my couch in the living room. Such a beautiful bedroom.

  10. Color is important when redesigning your bedroom. You can’t just pick your favorite color, it would be nice to pick something that helps you relax so you can sleep better.

    1. This is so true – I’ve actually ended up with a bit of black in our new bedroom, it wasn’t intentional to be honest, but it has worked so well. x

  14. These are really great tips! We have a really minimal design in our bedroom, as we just use it for sleeping and with minimal design and accessories it’s really relaxing and offers no distraction.
