Aldi Plus Size Collection For Women.
On the 8th May Aldi realised its first ever plus size collection for women, the range contains a number of items with prices starting at as little as £2.49 and going up to £8.99. At the moment the collection is small and only available for a limited time, but with an autumn / winter collection on the horizon, I can only assume, it is Aldi’s plan to make this collection get bigger and better over time.
To kick off this new realise which of course can be brought from an Aldi near you, while stocks last, they have produced:
Ladies 15 Denier Tights – 3 Pack £2.49
These tights are available in sizes XL or XXL and come in barely black or natural, they claim to not ladder easier and stand the test of time.
Padded Bra – 2 Pack in sizes: 36D, 38D, 38E, 40E and 42E £5.99
I don’t think I have come across a non-sale bra in a larger size at quite such a price, they are available in both black and white and I have to say personally, I would love to give these a feel and see how soft they are as I do like a nice soft bra.
Non-padded Bra – 2 Pack in sizes: 38 – 42D 38-42 DD and 38- 42E £8.99
I love the sound of these they apparently come in double jersey seamless cups, are under wired and have adjustable straps which is the sort of everyday bra I go for – yet I always pay out a lot more than £8.99 for 2.
Ladies Full Briefs – 3 Pack £3.99
I don’t have much info on these other than the above – so perhaps if you happen to spot a pack if you fancy letting me know more about them I would be happy to hear.
Ladies Wide Fitting Loafers – Sizes 4 – 7 £8.99
If you take a wide fitting shoe, then you might be glad to know you can now pick yourself up a pair for a pocket friendly £8.99, though perhaps not everyone style they will definitely be good for some people I am sure.
Ladies Leggings – Sizes 16 – 26 £4.99
A staple for summer has to be a pair of leggings, great under tunics and dresses, they are something that every wardrobe should contain and at just £4.99 what is to say no to?
Ladies Tops – Sizes 18 – 26 £6.99
Aldi have brought out a range of tops which comes in 3 colours red, blue and mocha re made of 95% cotton and 5% lycra and have been hopefully made in a flattering style for all.
Ladies Shorty PJs – sizes 18 – 28 £8.99
The PJ range is made from cotton and is available in two different designs the blue set you can see above and a pink top with white patterned bottoms (top left picture with the black bra includes the bottoms).
Personally I am really interested to see where this collection goes and who they will unveil as there face of it, it would be lovely to see some items perhaps aimed at us younger fashion lovers brought into the range. However for now I would love to see just what the quality is like for myself – so I think the next thing I need to arrange is heading forth into Lichfield Aldi and see if they have any in stock.
What do you think about this new idea from Aldi – could you see yourself heading down there to pick up some clothing alongside your shopping?

Ooh I love this idea. Can’t wait to see what the items are like! 🙂 Aldi just keep getting better.
That’s great they are doing this! I never shop in Aldi but I think I will have to go and look purely for the clothes!
I bought their 2-pack bra in 42DD a couple of weeks ago for 9.99 – great size & comfy – why pay more is what I say.
I had no idea Aldi did clothes! we get most of our booze from there x
Great that they have chosen to dress the average size woman!
I didn’t realise Aldi did clothes now too……..my only concern is the shops are so small there wouldn’t be somewhere to try it on
Always love hearing about new companies that do stuff for the larger lady. I was not aware that Aldi did a plus range so I must have a look.
I didn’t know Aldi did clothes. Must take a look.
I had no idea Aldi had brought out a plus size collection for women, looks fab and great prices too! xxx
Fantastic! I do love Aldi, and as a curvy girl with an eye for a bargain this range would be perfect for me. I must visit soon 🙂
Have never seen anything except the occasional kid’s clothes at our Aldi.. Will have to make a point to check it out.
I have bought children’s clothes from Aldi and they were exceptional quality at a good price. It’s good to see them promoting Plus sizes as there is not enough of this. Comfort and quality at a good price sounds good to me.
I love being able to disguise the cost of the odd clothes purchase in amongst the grocery bill – shhhhhhh now… not a word to the fella, k? 😉
We don’t have an Aldi store in our area. if we did, I would certainly be buying some of their clothing as it looks good.
I really didn’t know that Aldi do clothing at all.
I like the idea… some nice Pjs might pop to the basket whilst shopping for a milk 🙂
I haven’t been to an Aldi in forever- I didn’t even know they did clothes! Looks like a good collection though! x
What a great idea and I am so pleased that such as Aldi are moving into the plus sizes. The clothes look great , will definitely be taking a look. thanks for sharing x
Some nice standard staple wardrobe pieces
I love those shoes. I have to wear a wide width and they would be perfect for me.
I think it is great that they expanded to plus sizes. They look like they are on the right track. I like everything I see.
It’s smart of them to start small and expand when it’s comfortable/feasible to do so. Everything looks so cute, I hope all goes wonderfully well for them!
I had no idea aldi did clothes, let alone releasing a plus size line! They looks fabulous for the price! x
I have never bought from aldo bar food will have to watch more on their isles x
I adore Aldi and think that it is a great place to shop. The plus sized stuff sold out far too fast for me to get any at our store.
Oh I never realised Aldi did clothing too! They actually look quite good
It is good that they are considering people of different shapes and sizes – maybe the terminology could do with modernising. I mean is a 36 REALLY a plus size or am I being picky.
Really good prices! My mum loves the ALDI that just opened near her, I’ll have to let her know about this as I reckon she’ll be very interested 🙂
Aldi is great. They do some brilliant cycling kit too – very reasonable prices.

I haven’t been to an aldi since we moved, but will definitely check them out!! Leggings will be perfect to accommodate my growing bump!!
how interesting, we normally shop in Aldi but I never check the clothing and shoes range properly maybe its about the right time
I would definitely take a look at the leggings at that price.
didn’t know aldi did clothes too! they look good x
I have just started shopping in Aldi and do often get clothes from supermarkets, so it will be interesting to see how the range develops x
I do like some supermarket clothing as the price is exceptional.
