Top Tips for Shapewear Buying from Miraclesuit Back Magic
I’ve featured Miraclesuit swimwear before on my blog and it has become a long-standing favourite with both myself and my Mum. However, I haven’t before spoken about their shapewear range, which offers a great way to help smooth your silhouette.
Back Magic from Miraclesuit is different from the shapewear you have come across before. In fact, they even say Back Magic is revolutionary.
It is said to offer a comfortable and effective solution for all the most common shaping problems.
Back Magic uses a mix of flexible stays and a silicone finish making sure that each item fits well, with not slipping, sliding or rolling (normally the bane of any shapewear wearer’s life). This in turn allows the shapewear to work more effectively reducing bulges around the midriff, controlling lower back fat and preventing a muffin top from forming.
It even amazingly offers a small amount of back support.
If like me you are a little confused as to the top tips around buying shapewear than Miraclesuit Black Magic suggest the following:
1. Buy nude for white.
If you are looking to wear your shapewear under white clothing then buy a nude set, surprisingly these won’t show under white clothing, while white often will.
2. Don’t size down.
You should always buy shapewear in your regular dress size, sizing down will mean you struggle to get it on. A piece of shapewear that is too tight will actually create unsightly bulges, while a good piece in your own size will smooth and flatter.
Invest in those staples.
As with every part of your wardrobe, there are staple pieces of shapewear, for instance, a pair of hi-waist briefs can be worn under skirts, dress and trousers and work well for everyday wear.
Learn what works for your needs.
Making sure you are investing in shapewear to help your needs is a must. For instance, if you want help for your thighs a pair of hi-waist briefs are most definitely not what you need.
Of course most of all you need to be comfortable in what you wear, so be ready to try different styles, to find the perfect one for you.

It took me a while to work out the nude not white trick for under white clothes!

I would have never known to buy nude for under white. I have never tried shapewear but have heard great things about it.
They can be great when you find some that work for you and fit well!
I’ve used shapewear before .. but only if the dress is form-fitting. I haven’t had the best of luck .. although the next time I’m in need .. I’ll search out this brand. It looks great. Thanks for sharing it with us!

It is awful when they do that isn’t it – you have to spend forever pulling them back up.

I love a good body suit that sucks everything in – I do think it’s important to invest in good underwear. It makes such a difference to the way your clothes look over the top. Bulges and wobbly bits are not a good look!

You see this is really interesting because when I have bought shapewear in the past it just hasn’t worked for me! not all styles suit all bodies, it’s all about working with your own shape isn’t it! I might go back and try again x
It is hard to know what exactly what is right isn’t it, definitely trial and error.
I had one of these once but it kept sticking to my clothes. These ones sound a lot better.

I have shapewear and I swear by it! I don’t wear it every day but shapewear does make such a difference especially if the dress is a little snug or shows every bump on your body! I agree with the Miraclesuit Black Magic suggestions too!
