Miraclesuit swimming costume: Review
While I am unable to swim the miles I once could, I find going to the swimming pool can really help, some times I might not be able to actually swim but floating around in the water can make me feel so much better at least while I am in the water.
Last year my Mum lucky enough to get a Miraclesuit to try and she has been wearing it every time we go swimming since it arrived and believe me when I say it has worn well, considering I brought one around the same time which is well on its way out now, hers still seems to almost be in the same condition it was when it arrived (and we have worn both costumes around the same amount of times).
Earlier this year the lovely people over at Patricia Eve kindly treated me to my own Miraclesuit and I was over the moon to finally get to try one out myself.
This particular swimsuit is from Miraclesuit’s Must Haves Oceanus range and comes in a number of different colours, so don’t worry if this vibrant pink isn’t for you.
The suit features a soft cup and v neck, with a layered effect; which is said to help draw the eye away from the tummy, which is great, especially if this is a problem area for you.
As with all of the Miraclesuit range it has been made with Miratex® fabric, a special fable that boasts more than three times the holding power, when compared to normal swimsuit material – helping give you a smoother, more defined looking shape.
I have to admit I assumed that because you are looking at a swimsuit that holds you in, it could be uncomfortable and rather tight and while yes it is a bit different when you first put it on, it is actually really comfortable and definitely helps me feel more confident in myself.
Miraclesuit’s come in a whole host of designs and styles and a large range of sizes so if you are looking for a new costume, I really can suggest checking these out. as the quality is fantastic and you definitely get your money’s worth when it comes to longevity compared to other suits.
What do you think of the sound of Miracelsuit, could you see yourself buying one?

Thanks for the review – I need a new swim costume for when I can get on holiday!
My Mum absolutely loves Miraclesuits now, she’s had a few and thinks they are a great quality brands.
Thanks for this review Sarah, I would have thought that it would feel nasty on, like shrink-wrap-cling-film packaging. Good to know it’s not really that bad. 😉
This looks lovely! I’m glad to hear it is more comfortable than you expected x
Looks good, but it really would take a miracle for a swimsuit like that to smooth out all my spare tyres lol x
I like the colour of it and a V shape neck line. If I was on the market for a new swimsuit this one would go on my short list for sure.
These sound great. Worth paying a bit extra for!
I have a Miracle suit. The quality is amazing but the rice tag reflects that too. I brought mine off eBay new so was more affordable. Now I have tried it for myself I would pay full price as they do work apt ho,ding you in.
I love your Miraclesuit. The vibrant pink is lovely but I think I would go with something darker like black. The pretty cut does draw attention up and away from lower body flaws.
The name drew me straight in! Once upon a time I only had to consider if it was pretty.. oh how times change! This is actually quite okay for a confidence boosting one!
These costumes look fantastic! I would love to try one of these. I love the colour of this one.
I have heard about these and often wondered if they are any good, this has definitely swayed me towards getting one.
It looks great. I’m so thankful I don’t have to choose clothing like this for the beach. Shorts and done lol. Stephen :o)
I think I need one of these for our next holiday! I have never worn swimsuits before but this sounds brilliant
Oh I do like the look of this! I get more and more reluctant to get in the water, but with three water babies it’s something I can’t really carry on trying to get out of… this does seem worth a try!
This sounds like something I would be happy in, especially with having bigger boobs x
i need one of these in my life, or maybe a few in different colours hehe
I’m all for supportive swim suits now I’m heading towards middle age. Love the colour!
I could do with a new swimming cossie! This looks great for someone like me who has had a couple of children and very body conscious.
I hate swimsuit shopping. As I have had a mastectomy is makes it twice as hard
I’m glad to hear they last so long. I do like the color of the one shown here too.
It’s well worth finding a flattering, supportive swimsuit. Love the colour of this one too.
I love this colour. I’ve something similar in green and it’s fab
I love the look of it – I swim a lot so one that lasts is something that is important
Finding the right swimsuit is so important for self confidence I think.
What a great swimming costume. Stripping down to go swimming is bad enough so you need to feel as good as possible.
When I go swimsuit shopping that design is the same style I look for to help hide the mommy tummy I have had for 8 years now. I love the color of it too. I would totally love to review a swimsuit.
I love my Miraclesuit. Having a severe form of arthritis, water is my friend. I love to go to the Y and just float, be one with the water, feeling the warmth of the heated pool cushion my joints. My suits have held up very well with repeated use. I’m glad you got one!
What a pretty swimsuit. I am very picky about swim suits. I like how modest this one is.
I haven’t been swimming for ages because I’m too self-conscious of my body, this could be a help!
These are awesome. I think i need one of these!
It looks lovely, I’d probably go for the hot pink myself. I like swimming costumes with support.
I love the design of this swimsuit. My tummy is definitely a problem area, so I could definitely use this.
I could definitely see myself in one – I like the security of feeling ‘held in’ in my swimming costume! I bet you felt wonderful in this.
This sounds like something I need badly. I still have my baby weight and want to take my baby swimming soon but dont feel confident at all with my body. I love that it’s a one piece too x
I have one of these in black! I had it for my honeymoon, haha! It held everything in, even on the chutes in Florida! I highly recommend it, especially if anyone has a camera around!
I sooooooo need one of these. Great review
