  1. Its amazing how you can find humor despite suffering from a chronic illness. I suffer from Diabetes and when my sugar levels spike, I evolve into a t-rex!

  2. Lol. I think this is normal. I, too experience this fibro fog sometimes. But thanks for sharing this. It was fun reading it.

    1. It can be to a degree, Fibro Fog, however, is a bit different to the normal forgetfulness or silly things people do. It can be quite scary and can lead to all sorts of issues, as well as speech issues etc..

  3. I don’t have fibromyalgia but I do get brain fog occasionally. The most common is going into a room and forgetting why I had to go there in the first place. Or going to the drugstore to get a refill when I don’t have either the prescription or the money. I also have a hard time remembering people’s names.

  4. I do suffer the occasional moment of brain fog but I had no idea how bad it can be for some people x

  5. I have the occasional moment where I go somewhere to do something and totally forget what it was, but I didn’t realise fibro affected people so much x

    1. It is an awful condition I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. The way it has changed me and my life is just huge.

  6. I knew that fibro affected so many different things. But a fibro fog is not something I had ever heard about. It’s got to be rough though if it’s affecting things like memory and caution. I hope things get better, including remembering number five on this list. 😉

  7. This reminds me of those silly moments when I forget something that I supposed to do. I just learned to laugh at these moments.

  8. I had some serious brain fog when my kids were newborns. I remember doing all kinds of crazy stuff, like leaving stuff out of the fridge, and putting non-perishables in the fridge. Offering a milk bottle to my older daughter instead of the baby. It’s tough!

  9. I think you have just described my life! I’m forever putting things in the wrong places – the salt grinder in the fridge and I too have taken the milk for a walk instead of my tea!

  10. Although I don’t suffer from Fibro I have to say that having baby brain results in similar symptoms. Thankfully my friends and hubby can kind of work out the jumbled up words that come out of my mouth and we can have a laugh about it. I must say I do get worried when I forget things though and it’s the stupidest things within the space of a few minutes.

  11. I don’t I don’t suffer from fibro, but boy can I relate to the fog – that is me daily. I have done the same thing with microwave cook time before. lol

  12. Brain fog can be so hard! I have it sometimes due to medication changes and things like that, and I have left stuff in weird places too many times to count.

    1. It is hard isn’t it, and then you have to try and find the things which you have left in stupid places.

  13. I am sorry that you experience this. I cannot even fathom how incredibly frustrating this must be. I have chronic pain as well. Half of my spine is held together with metal and prayer and osteoarthritis. I also have bipolar disorder and anxiety. My doctors have put me on a cocktail of medications that are known to slow down thinking and cause forgetfulness and good gracious, they do. I have notes for my notes and those notes have notes to remind me where I’ve put those notes. – I am not comparing my situation with what you go through. I have read about fibro fog and how awful it can be. Just know that I empathize…and I’m rambling…because I’m awkward. xoxoxo

    1. Oh gosh sending you gentle hugs, what a nightmare for you to have to be going through all of that <3

  14. I don’t suffer from Fibro (a lot of my friends do and it just sounds horrendous so my thoughts are with you!) however I have had a brain fog moment…today in fact… I was writing something for work (bear in mind I work with construction) and I had put the following in my draft ‘overhead brush’ (instead of bridge) and Hot Cross Bun Fence….. yup… (although apparently this is a real thing!).

  15. Oh dear .. it sounds like my 40+ year old brain! Some days I’m so scatterbrained. The best thing I can do is laugh about it .. write myself a million notes .. and hope tomorrow is better!

    1. I have notes everywhere I have to admit, in the hopes they help. But I’m awful for forgetting where the note is or thinking it has been sorted.

  16. I would say that hangovers give me brain fog! Lol, I always have trouble getting the day started if I spend the night before with too many drinks.

  17. I don’t have fibromyalgia but I have congestive heart failure and I experience episodes like this frequently. I go to do something and my mind is completely blank. If I don’t write thinks down, they don’t happen. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgotten that I need to start dinner.

  18. I get brain fog everyone’s in a while. I think mine is more caused by eating too many carbs or sugar but it does make me do silly things.

    1. No problem at all 🙂 I’m glad to have helped show a little more about how debilitating it is.

  19. I hadn’t heard of this brain fog until a woman I got to know was telling me about it. She suffers from fibromygalia. Which she had to educate me on as well. Nice you are getting the word out.

  20. I suffer from brain fog, I have to write down what I’m going to say before making a phone call. I always stumble on words, even really simple ones. I put things in unusual places too, we can never find anything.

  21. It is so rewarding to help others
Appearances can often be deceiving -putting the coffee in the fridge is becoming a habit with me?
