Kate’s Clothing Love

Kate’s Clothing Love

Back in September last year, the lovely people at Kate’s Clothing got in touch and asked if I would like to check out some of their range, (you can read my review of that here), I absolutely adored the website then and they became a firm favourite of my finds for 2016. So I was thrilled when they got in touch again and asked if I would like to review a few things, in celebration of their revamped website.

I decided this time to go down a completely different route to my previous homewares review, so checked out some of their gothic clothing and gift range.

I was thrilled to see that Kate’s Clothing offer a large range of sizes from a 6 – 30 in a variety of different brands, styles and designs. I, of course, headed to the plus size section and after starting with a huge list, I finally whittled it down to a small selection and was kindly sent the following items:

Chic Star Plus Size Burgundy Gothic Corset Jacket

Chic Star Plus Size Burgundy Gothic Corset Jacket

This soft to the touch gothic style jacket comes in a gorgeous velvet style fabric. The main body of the jacket is a beautiful burgundy colour, which is finished off with lace edging around the cuffs and bottom of the jacket. While there is a corset style tie to the back, which is laced with black ribbon.

This jacket is so comfortable to wear and offers a warm overcoat for when the weather takes a colder turn. The single button to the front means it can be worn done up or open.

If you fancy this corset jacket for yourself, you can, of course, buy it from Kate’s Clothing where it costs £52.99.

Collectif Plus Size Opal Palazzo Pants

Hands up, I love a good pair of palazzo trousers and I was thrilled to find this pair from Collectif. Made from a mix of materials, these trousers are designed to have a high waist and feature a zip to the side.

A comfy pair of trousers, the colour means they can easily take you from day to night and the make the perfect accompanying item to the corset jacket and perhaps a plain white t-shirt.

While these are from the plus size collection, it is worth mentioning that Collectif offers these in a size 8 – 22 on the Kate’s Clothing website.  The palazzo trousers from the plus size collection can be found here, where they cost £46.99.

Spiral Gothic Bat Cat Plush Toy

Spiral Gothic Bat Cat Plush Toy

There is nothing like having something gothic and cuddly by your side and this bat cat plush toy from Spiral Direct, most definitely fits the bill.

Arriving in his own little see through backpack his wings are softly wired, allowing you to position them as you want. This little bat cat comes in at 12 inches tall, and you maybe glad to hear the collar around his neck is faux leather.

If you fancy Bat Cat in your life, you can buy him now for £32.99.

Overall I have been really impressed with all the items I have received from Kate’s Clothing and have been left amazed by all they have to offer.

Hopefully I’ve helped show you a bit more, that will perhaps tempt you to have a look, after all there is so much to find when you go to explore.

What do you think of these items from Kate’s Clothing, do any take your fancy?
