Kate’s Clothing At Home
I have always loved things a little bit different and a little bit quirky so when Kate’s Clothing got in touch and asked if I would like to review something from their website I hot footed it over and had a good look around.
Ash and I actually got rid of a lot of things when we moved, which has meant we have the odd little nook and corner where we can afford to get a few new things and I filled a couple of spaces with these gorgeous goodies from Kate’s Clothing.
As you might expect from a website called Kate’s Clothing on the whole it is dedicated to clothing, both for males and females and alternative in style. It is the sort of clothing website I would have adored (and still do in many ways) in my teens, full of cool gothic clothing.
However, don’t overlook it just because of the word clothing in the title, as nestled underneath the accessories tab is a section dedicated to gift and homeware and that is where I found these beauties.
Gothic Skull Sugar Spoon, Kate’s Clothing – £4.99
I can’t remember when I first came across these spoons, but I have been after one ever since and was over the moon to finally get my hands on one.
Made of stainless steel, these spoons are completely dishwasher safe and are perfect for perhaps giving your guests a bit of a fright when the tucking into the sugar for their cuppa. Or if like me you don’t do sugar (sorry guests who do, you have to BYO), then it also makes for a good spoon to fish out any tea bag.
Personally I’m thinking I might have to buy another couple of these Gothic Skull Sugar Spoons and make up a whole skull army.
Sourpuss Monster Tea Set – £12.99
We all have those days where we wake up feeling a bit out of sorts and perhaps a bit “monsterish” and for those days this tea set is the perfect way to drain away those feelings with a reviving cup of tea.
One thing I love with this is tea set is not only the vibrant green colouring, but the detailing of the monsters face, as well as the bolts on the saucer as well. In fact each set has been hand painted so no wonder they look so cool!
The Sourpuss Monster Tea Set is, you will be glad to know, both microwave and dishwasher safe and is bound to be a bit of a talking point next time you have anyone around.
My favourite way to dish out a tea bag from this tea cup, is by of course using my skull spoon, I have to say I think they make the perfect partners.

Oh goodness, I LOVE that!!! We drink a lot of hot cocoa during the cold weather months and I know the kiddos would love something as unique as this.
