Elishacoy UK Skin Repairing Snail Cream

Around a month ago, I introduced you to the Wish Trend Wubb Review panel. If you missed that post, you can check it out here. Well, I’m back here today with my Elishacoy UK Snail Cream review.

Before I used this moisturiser, I was using Sudocrem most nights. I find that my sensitive skin is just such a problem when it comes to beauty products. Most skin care products end up with me either suffering from dry patches or breakouts, and I had just about gotten my breakouts down to a point where they were more or less under control.

So it was with trepidation that I started to use this. Not only was I a bit nervous about the fact that this was snail cream (yes, from actual snails!), but also about what it might do to my sensitive skin once I started using it.

But I really shouldn’t have worried as it actually seemed to do my skin good.

Elishacoy UK Snail Repair Cream information

Elishacoy UK Snail Repair Cream is made using key ingredients, including the mucin that snails leave behind (yes, that’s right, snail slime!). Snail mucin, the snail secretion filtrate, is composed of chondroitin that permeates deep into the skin and prevents the signs of aging, improves skin elasticity, controls moisture levels, and helps skin cell regeneration.

This cream is supposed to have anti-ageing benefits, including helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It should also help with evening out skin tone, reducing the appearance of acne scars and dark spots, and help boost collagen production, thanks to the glycolic acid and hyaluronic acid it contains.

How to use the Snail Repair Cream

You just use this snail extract cream just as you would use your usual moisturiser. Massage into your skin twice a day on your face and neck once you’ve cleansed and toned. As soon as I used this, it had a cooling effect on my skin. I admit I found that quite strange to start with, but over time I came to like it, and it left my skin feeling soothed.

It also had the opposite effect to what I was expecting when it came to my skin. It calmed my breakouts down to the point where I now have little to no spots for the first time since I was really quite young.

Depending on your skin type, the one downside of this cream for some people might be that it’s not the most moisturising cream you can get. I have very oily skin, though, and I often find that moisturisers can be a bit too thick and just sit on my skin, so this light formulation has really worked wonders for me, and it will be great for combination skin, but it might not work as well on dry skin.

In summary, this cream has been a winner for me with its ability to keep my breakouts at bay and the light formulation. I think I’m going to have to start treating myself, and honestly, if it didn’t have ‘snail’ on the front of the packet, you wouldn’t even know it had snail slime in it.
