i allow myself plenty of me time to pamper myself
I try not to really do anything differently; but I don’t beat myself up if I need to eat some chocolate or cut short a workout.
I don’t do much, just take lots of painkillers!
I don’t, I just crash and burn as I feel too needed by everyone else 😭
I have recently switched to period underwear and it makes life so much easier! It also much better for the environment!
I make sure I don’t over do it or make too many plans. Lots of early nights and hot water bottles!
Lots of baths and hot water bottles plus I try eat healthy
drink plenty of water, exercise and make sure I get a good nights sleep
Lots of chocolate and movies!
I make sure I exercise! It always helps!
Make sure I have lots of easy to cook meals, & prep my food and snacks
I have ENDOMETRIOSIS stage 4 so I have to take time for my with hot baths etc
Making sure I take time out to do yoga and have a warm bath really helps me!
I snuggle, sleep and snooze, eat lots of iron rich foods, stay away from alcohol, eat chocolate, have a cry, take some painkillers- then have a nap
Hot Water bottle and pain killers and back to bed
Ensuring I take things at a slower pace with a hot water bottle at hand.
Normally when I have my monthly I use tampons and panty liners
My wife has a long soak in the bath with salts whilst i do the cooking etc…
not enough, usually take myself to bed with painkillers
A hot water bottle helps me, along with drinking lots of water
I like to just try and keep as comfortable as possible. I often have a nice, hot soak in the bath to help me relax too.
I try to make sure I get extra sleep, I use period pants instead which help cramps, and I use a magnesium roller on my tummy! Most of all I try to give myself the kindness and care I’d give to my friends when they were feeling rough! Not always easy but we are all so hard on ourselves, it’s time to give ourselves a break.
I don’t beat myself up about not being able to be as productive as usual, allowing myself to rest, have a hot shower or bath and get lots of sleep – early nights!
just being less demanding of myself – listening to my body and being extra kind to myself – It’s ok for the routine to go out the window for a couple of days and it’s ok to ask my family to help around the house a bit more.
I recently treated myself to some period pants and now regret it taking me so long! They are so much more comfortable than anything else
