  1. As a busy mum I’ve pretty much neglected shaving, maybe a few times a year when the weather warms up and I want to expose my arms and legs. But this is great! I never knew laser hair removal could be painless. I guess I have never done any research on it. I wonder if I can kindly suggest it to my husband as well…haha.

  2. I would definitely consider this for facial hair! It seems very unfair that as we age, we develop what can only be described as ‘whiskers’ on our chinny chin chins! I have tried several removal methods but the darned things just keep growing back. Something more extreme is called for, I think!

    1. It is so hard isn’t it, I had my hairdresser over today and we were talking about when you get older and hair grows in annoying places.

  3. I have been thinking about laser hair removal for a while now and there is some good tips and info here so thank you.

  4. I have PCOS and hate the amount of hair I have and the quickness of the growth. I have tried hair removal creams, waxing and shaving but they are just short term fixes. I would love to try laser removal but the costs are always too high.

  5. I have actually thought about having it under my arms. I heard it helps with sweating too, not sure how accurate that is. I think it can be a good way of helping to remove hair especially if you have dark hair like me

  6. I have definitely considered laser hair removal. Shaving is the bane of my life and laser hair removal seems like a much better option for me!

    1. It can be such a nightmare, can’t it? Feels like it’s never-ending you get rid, turn away for a second and its back.

  7. I have had some laser before but I didn’t keep up with the top ups/ have enough sessions so it’s all grown back now, but I’d love to have it done again properly x

  8. This is something I know a few people would like to try. It makes it easier for the summer but from what I’ve seen from experience it’s not permanent.

    1. It isn’t guaranteed to be permanent but can last from months – to years depending on the person and some people do find it is. It’s a very individual process.

  9. I had laser treatment before and it is really good. It does depend on your skin type though, as well as your hair colour. Unfortunately it is just a temporary solution, and in order to keep your body hair free you do need to repeat the treatment every few years. But it’s still great not having to shave so often.

    1. It’s very individual and some people can find it is permanent, but as you say some find it doesn’t last so long as others and it definitely makes a difference when it comes to skin tone and hair colour. Pale skin with dark hair has the best results.

  10. This is something I have seriously considered in the past, I did purchase a unit for home and it did show a difference but obviously no where near a professional treatment

    1. Yeah, I think the home units are OK, but you definitely aren’t going to get the same effects as having it done by a professional.

  11. A friend of mine had full body laser hair removal (except her head and brows lol) and she said it is the best money she has ever spent! It is something I have considered and have tried using IPL devices at home x

  12. It’s something I have considered, also an ingrown hair sufferer (I feel your pain). Thanks for sharing some more reasons to consider it further!!

  13. I hate ingrown hair so have been considering laser hair removal for sometime now, these tips and suggestions have made me realise that I need to get the treatment done soon

  14. I really want laser hair removal, I get painful ingrown hairs on my legs. I’m getting my teeth straightened at the moment but once I have paid that off I am seriously considering laser hair removal on my legs next

    1. How are you finding having your teeth straightened? I stopped wearing my retainer at 18 (which I’m sure they told me I could do) and my teeth are now moving and overlapping, so I would love to have them straightened up again.
