Try Tuesday with Marks and Spencer
Have you ever fancied stepping out of your comfort zone with clothes? Are you looking for a new outfit for a specific occasion? Or just want a helping hand picking you next accessory? Then Try Tuesday from Marks and Spencer could be for you.
Try Tuesday with Marks and Spencer
Launched at the end of last year, Try Tuesday puts you together with a personal stylist to help pick out the next perfect outfit for you. Sign up is free (you only pay for any clothes or accessories you actually decide to buy) and only takes a few minutes to set up your account ready for your stylist to get working on some ideas for you.
Let Try Tuesday Get to Know You
Before you are paired with your personal stylist your going to need to answer some questions (to make sure you get the right person for you). They are pretty simple (depending on how decisive you are) and range from the type of wardrobe additions you wish to make (day-to-day or work) and how smart or casual you would like your outfit to be to name a few. This is then followed up by some more personal questions such as age, size and specific likes and dislikes.
At the end of this process, you will be introduced to your stylist who will then get working on the perfect collection for you, which should arrive in 3 – 5 days. Your first collection will include 3 outfit selections to suit your personal style
My collection has arrived what now?
So your first collection has arrived, now is the time to get excited and look through. You can offer feedback on each item, as to if you like it or loathe it (and why). For instance, I was given high heels in my first collection as was able to tell them I couldn’t wear them and I needed flats, which helped personalise my next collection even more.
Each item links through to the corresponding website on Marks and Spencer website, making it easy to purchase any items you like.
Try Tuesday doesn’t end after your first collection though, oh no! You will be sent collections every few months to look through (unless you ask them not to). You can also speed up the process and ask them to send more often, if you so wish.
What did I think of Try Tuesday?
I personally really like the service, I have found some pieces I have fallen in love with and some pieces I’ve not been so keen on. It is definitely something I will leave running to get more ideas from as the year progresses.
If you want to try Try Tuesday yourself, then you can sign up over on their website (remember it’s free) and I would love to know what suggestions you get if you do give it a whirl.

This post was written in collaboration with Try Tuesday but all opinions and thoughts are my own.

It sounds really helpful to effectively have your own personal styler for free. I’m just worried that I’d end up spending more money than I have!
There’s no obligation to buy anything, no hard sell, they just send you ideas and you can give feedback and that’s it. So if your worried about being made to buy anything that won’t happen, however tempting you to buy that I can’t say won’t happen.
Having a personal stylist sounds like an awesome opportunity. I would love to see what they’d pick for me
It’s well worth giving it a try see what they come up with.
That’s such a nice idea, I do find that sometimes I go towards the same types of items so having someone else choose some bits can be great x
I have to admit I probably only like 5 things of the same item I wear over and over. I definitely need a change from time to time lol.
I love mark and spencer but to a small girl like me, I think I have to do some overhaul to see if mark and spencer created clothes suited for beautiful but small ladies like me!
They do have a petite range 🙂 so well worth checking out 🙂
I’ve got a handful of clothes from Marks and Spencer that I do really like. It’s just a struggle sometimes to find a good fit for Asian size.
That is a shame 🙁 I hope perhaps one day you find some more.
The red pieces at the top of the post here are amazing!! Is this available internationally. I used to like Marks and Spencer. We lost those actual bricks and mortar stores a few years ago though in Canada. I’d love to try this. Sounds awesome.
I am pretty sure you can sign up no matter where you are in the world 🙂
I have never tried any kind of the fashion services out there. This looks like a great concept for someone like me (fashion challenged) When my daughter was living at home I always had someone to ask about my fashion choices. Thanks for sharing the Try Tuesday service.
It is definitely worth trying and quite fun as well!
ooohhh i would love to try this! i enjoy styling but im also always curious how others would style me! plus i love marks and spencer!
M&S are great aren’t they – they really offer some awesome pieces.
When I step out of my comfort zone, it tends to NOT go very well, ha! So I RARELY make that mistake. Once in a VERY BLUE moon does it actually work out… More often than not I am like THE FAKKK was I thinking!!
Haha been there and got the tshirt as well!
Oh this looks great! I have been wanting to try a service like this but have not liked the selections some services have available. These look great and trendy plus super easy to do!
I hope you like it if you do decide to give it a try 🙂
Sounds like an awesome service and it’s convenient too. You get to have someone shop for you and have it delivered right at your doorstep. I’d love to check it out.
Haha it is very convenient you just need to order and pay in the middle lol 😉 shame it’s not all free.
I ove Marks & Spencer so this new concept about Try Tuesday is very interesting to me. I will definitely be subscribing to it, having a stylist help with the clothes selection is so important and helpful.
Ohh enjoy I hope you get some wonderful selections – I’ve really loved some of the things they have suggested to me.
What a great idea!! I love that you get your own style consultant (trust me! I need it!) and it ships so fast!!!
Haha I am the same I totally need one as well – I just throw on the first thing I grab normally.
I’m seeing lots of services like these pop up and they seem like they’re the future of fashion shopping.
It is a great idea isn’t it – I love that they are giving you, your own personal stylist.
Oh I love this idea!! I love marks and spencers but haven’t heard of this before. I would love to try it!
It is fantastic isn’t it! I love getting all the different updates through from them had some great suggestions so far.
Fashion should be fun but we should not be going at it alone if one is not used to putting together their own cohesive outfits. I have not heard of Try Tuesday until now so thank you for letting me know about them!
No problem at all – I really hope you like the service, I mean who doesn’t want access to a fashion stylist for FREE!
What a great service. I’ve always liked Marks and Spencer. We lived in England for 3 years and I loved that store.
It is such a great store isn’t it – I think everyone who lives / lived here knows it and uses it in some form.
I had never heard of this, thanks for sharing I may give this a twirl
Go for it! You have nothing to lose after all!
this is great
A free personal stylist? I think that’s awesome! I don’t know of any companies that do this, so Try Tuesday is on to something!
It is great isn’t it and Marks and Sparks are such a reputable company so you know you are safe in there hands!
I’ve been playing with this service myself and really enjoy it – its given me some ideas slightly outside the normal.
C x
I think that is the great thing about it as well – it is interesting to see what they suggest.
I have never heard of this before! What a great idea! I love the variety of styles
Honestly, each selection they have sent so far has been so different! It is great.
That is so awesome! I must have this in my life. I’ve never heard about this before, and I’m so glad you shared it!
It is great I get excited every time I new selection arrives as I’m like what could it contain!
This sounds like a cool idea. Honestly I don’t get out to shop for myself, so this would be a perfect idea for me to be able to try out new outfits without trips to the store.
It is fab isn’t it, always nice to see what ideas they have sent your way.
Looks like a very nice service. I would have to try it.
It is well worth trying after all it is free 🙂
