  1. We are about to redecorate our bedrooms and my granddaughters like to choose the colours for us. They are not adventurous, which is surprising, but I do like the sage green colour for tranquility

  2. I do like the look of the grey/silver one with the dotty wallpaper! I’ve never tried wallpapering before though!

  3. Some lovely colours here, me and my husband has been debating what colour to paint our bedroom and this really helped give us some ideas

  4. There are some nice ideas here – although I’m afraid our bedroom only gets redecorated when it really needs it.

  5. Midnight blues are lovely, I’m definitely going to include some in my home. I like the idea of mustard but I’m not sure I could pull it off!

    1. I have seen some lovely rooms with deep blues in of late – I really fancy doing that as a feature wall.

  6. What lovely schemes and bedroom settings. Interesting how fashions change in everything including colours. I used to love magnolia but now I love statement colours.

  7. I have my bedroom, and in fact the whole bungalow , painted in Dulux Just Walnut which is a warm grey with a hint of lilac, and furniture in white and grey. It means there is a nice flow through the house and I find the colour so calming. I add splashes of colour with things like cushions, curtains as it is a great base.

    1. Oh that sounds like a nice colour, I am going to have to look into it as we have to move and I’m sure the new place will need decorating sadly.

    2. @MARIA ROGERS, that is a lovely shade. I would like to think I could do the same but I think I could be distracted by other colours

  8. My bedroom is such a mish mash of colours and styles at the moment. It literally consists of whatever was on sale. I do love the midnight blue theme and hopefully one day, when we have the budget to do it up properly, we will be able to create that theme.
