All sorts of companies offer promotions that let you get the stuff you need for your pets for free (or close to it).

Those in the hospitality and tourism industry increasingly recognise that pet owners want to be able to take their dogs with them when they go away. Many companies in the industry are, therefore, now allowing dogs as part of their terms of service.

If you’re on a low income, you may be able to claim free veterinary care for your pet.
How does it work?
At present, the RSPCA orchestrates free veterinary care throughout England and Wales. The charity operates over 160 sites where you may be entitled to particular treatments.
You need to prove you receive one of the following benefits to qualify:
- Income-related employment support allowance
- Income-based jobseekers’ allowance
- Pension credit
- Universal credit
- Income support
Once you’ve proved that you receive one of those benefits, you’re able to choose from several low-cost or free services for your pet.

- Free neutering
- Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Flea and worm treatment
- Some other minor complaints
Free Pet Boarding
Pet boarding can be expensive. You have to pay somebody to look after your pet full-time, and all the costs of food and accommodation can quickly build up.

We have 3 collies, and with the cost of boosters, we took out a plan with our local vets who for a one off payment give the dogs free check ups and booster injections for their lives. Whilst it mat seem expensive at first it saves a lot over their lives and you know the dogs are covered
