Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal Review
Since I’ve hit my 30s I’ve been aware of how much I have neglected my skin care. This is partly through ignorance and partly because of my mental and physical health. There are days when, after washing, all I want to do is collapse into a heap. Earlier in the year when I was having a facial, it was pointed out to me that not only did I suffer badly from spots but I also had a lot of facial scarring. This, of course, is partly due to my long history with spots. They started in primary school. Some of them are also self-inflicted.
So, when the lovely people over at Swiss Clinic got in touch and asked if I would like to try out their Skin Renewal set, which includes a Swiss Clinic Skin Roller and Rejuvenating Serum, I said yes.
Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal
Who are Swiss Clinic?
If you haven’t heard of Swiss Clinic before, they are a company that works with leading developers worldwide. Their main team is based in Switzerland. Their aim is to make high-tech beauty products and treatments with active, natural ingredients, which offer visible and long-lasting results.
What is included in the Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal Kit?
The Skin Renewal Kit contains two items. The first is a skin roller in either 0.2 or 0.5 which has an individual RRP of £42. Then there is the Rejuvenating Serum which has an RRP of £69. When bought together, the kit will cost you £84 which is an overall saving of £27.
I was also kindly sent a Sanitizing Spray, which costs £18 or can be bought in a set of three for £22.
What are the benefits of the Swiss Clinic Renewal Kit?
Skin Roller
As I said before the skin roller, also called dermaroller, comes in two different sizes. It is worth using the roller length guide to find out what is the perfect size for you. The roller can be used across the face and body. Its benefits include: helping with acne and facial scarring (a 0.2 is suggested), wrinkles and sagging skin (a 0.5 is suggested), helping sun spots and pigmentation, stretch marks, body scarring and more. The roller is suitable for all skin types and boosts the production of collagen and elastin.
By using this microneedle treatment across your skin, you open up tiny micro channels which prompts the skin to think that it needs to produce more collagen to help fight the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Use a medium pressure for a total facial treatment.
Rejuvenating Serum
The Rejuvenating Serum is an anti-ageing serum which is made to work hand in hand with the skin roller for cell renewal on treated areas. It contains the active ingredient of beta-glucan which helps stimulate skin rejuvenation and collagen production. Using both parts of the set accelerates your skin’s natural healing process, helping to increase skin’s elasticity and radiance, alongside reducing the depth of wrinkles.
What did I think of the Swiss Clinic Renewal Kit?
I’m totally going to be honest. I was scared to use the roller at first. As with any time you start a new treatment, it can be a bit daunting. I imagined pain and lots of blood everywhere. However, that didn’t happen. I actually found it quite relaxing. Yes, I found sticking needles into my skin relaxing – I am strange.
It is suggested you roll the skin roller over the face vertically, horizontally and diagonally for a treatment period of 2 – 3 minutes and then follow with the serum. A pattern of using it for seven days, then taking a seven day break of rest days is most effective. It’s important that you let your skin rest. You should then repeat this process until you feel your skin looks as you wish it to. At this point, I have used it for a month and I have already noticed a huge difference in my skin.
While I have had spots, they have been few and far between and have been barely visible. My skin tone has evened out and it has made a difference that is also noticeable to others, in particular around my cheeks. It is at this point I realise I haven’t embraced my inner beauty blogger and taken before and after pictures – I am sorry. I would definitely be interested to go back to an expert and see if they noticed any difference to the scarring as well.
Overall, I am really impressed with the Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal set and the Rejuvenating Serum is on my rebuy list. If you fancy trying it for yourself, you can, of course, get it over on the Swiss Clinic website, where the set costs £84.
Just to add if you do decide to give this kit, or any other that uses a skin roller a go, please do remember to sanitise it properly between each use.
What do you think of the sound of the Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal kit, would you like to try it?

I am always looking for a good skin regime. This sounds like something I should give a try.
I think getting yourself into a good routine is perhaps half the battle.
This looks worth it to try! I would love to try that rejuvenating serum!
It is such an interesting set, I’ve heard so much about derma rollers bit had been worried to try them.
I’ve tried a lot of skin care products but I’ve never tried this brand before. It’s really good to hear that you love how it works and that it’s reliable. I’d love to try this!
It is amazing how different products can work for definitely people. I love getting to try different ones and seeing how they do.
A good skin care regimen, it’s definitely what I’d love to experience. I love that it’s worth getting and that it does what it’s supposed to do to our skin.
I think that’s what has really helped me out, managing to go through the whole cleanse, tone and moisturise.
Good to know that it works wonders for the skin. I haven’t used a roller before as well but I have been seeing it around so much lately!
They are everywhere at the moment aren’t they. It was really interesting to get to try one.
Hmm that skin roller looks interesting! I would try it in that 7 on 7 off pattern, especially if you saw the results you wanted within a month!? Awesome to hear!
Most definitely I’m sure it can get better, but seeing my spots reduce is really a big thing for me.
It looks intimidating and intriguing at the same time. Now that I’m almost 42 and seeing the years walk across my face, I’ll try anything.
That is exactly how I felt I honestly thought I would see blood everywhere haha!
Does it hurt any at all? I’m a wuss when it comes to these things but the roller does look intriguing. I’ve just started experimenting with different serums and peels to even out the skin tone on my face.
Honestly I don’t think it did at all, I really found it relaxing, rather than painful.
That roller is interesting. I’m willing to try almost anything to rid me of this acne scarring. I’ve had more acne as an adult than I ever did as a teen.
It’s horrid isn’t it – I think this is the longest time I’ve gone without a really bad breakout.
This looks so interesting – I need some skin renewal! I’ve got spots which I think are from sleep deprivation and serious wrinkles which I think are from squinting at a computer screen too much… where are my glasses?!
I’m getting them from squinting, I’m always squinting to see better or from the sun haha!
I’m intrigued by the roller. I think it would take me some time to work up the nerve to use it.
It did for me as well, but I really found it relaxing, I’m not sure if that’s just as I’m strange though.
I need to add this to my spa day routine! Thank you so much for sharing it. A friend was actually telling me about this company the other day!
Ohh good to know they are being talked about by others as well – it is a really good way to look after your skin I have to admit.
I am so interested in this system it seems like it can smooth out and improve all my wrinkles. I will look into this system and use it instead of the needles I have been using until now.
Definitely worth looking into I was so impressed by it I have to say!
I had never heard of the brand before. The products look really interesting! The skin rollers intrigue me. I must admit, I don’t treat my skin much but I am really curious about this products so it might change
I neglected mine a lot I to admit so it’s nice to be able to give different things a try now and see what works.
Ooh those skin rollers intrigue me! I’ve heard they are great but never tried one, I think I might!
Definitely give it a try – I was so worried about trying it at first but I’ve really come to like it.
I haven’t tried one yet either. I really want to but I am nervous.
Honestly, I totally understand that I was as well, but it’s oddly relaxing.
This sounds amazing. Especially the skin roller. Have to look for it.
Most definitely do it is such an interesting way to treat your skin.
Wow, this looks like a great skin care system. I struggle a ton with acne so I am always looking for something to help even out my skin tone.
It is awful isn’t it – I’m sure my skin hasn’t caught up with my age – I was so surprised at how well it has kept my skin spot free.
Rolling needles over you skin? Are you strange??
Seriously, this sounds like a great item and the price point does seem very fair especially if it helps with one’s skin. I have psorasis and there isn’t much that be done long-term so I relate just a little when it comes to bad skin
I knew someone who has psoriasis once, what a horrid condition it is 🙁 so painful.
I’m very intrigued with these products, especially the skin roller. We all need to maintain our bodies to look and feel great. Thanks so much for the introduction to Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal.
Most definitely it can make us feel so much better if we have looked after it well.
This sounds great, especially as you’ve noticed such a big difference. My skin feels permanently dehydrated and I know that’s because I don’t look after it very well, I would love to try something like this, to kick-start me into really taking care of it.
It is hard to get onto that track of doing it – I keep a tub of face cream by my bed and if I forget everything else I at least try and pop that on after cleansing these days.
This got me curious. I’ll be checking on this too!
Sounds like a home spa and a great product to pamper yourself at home.
It really is a bit like a home spa and it doesn’t take hours just 2 -3 minutes with the roller then pop on the serum!
I feel like I need this. I’m intrigued by that roller. I definitely have some wrinkles I’d like to get rid of.
It is a really interesting system, I was scared of trying it at first, but now I can’t speak highly enough.
Overall, I don’t think it sounds too pricey for something that you would be paying for every time at a spa. I think that I wouldn’t mind trying that at home. The wand actually looks a bit intimidating though! I won’t lie!
That is true and being able to use it all the time it means you get more of a benefit from it. Haha it does at first doesn’t it – looks like a torture device.
I will try this. I think it works properly.
