The weather is pretty nasty at the moment, even I'm starting to feel the cold and the ground is covered with ice and snow, so making sure I have something to snuggle down in to keep me warm and toasty without having to run up a huge electricity bill is a must. Thankfully for us all Bedroom Athletics make cosy warm clothing, their priority and have a wide range of things to keep everyone warm this winter and they kindly sent me to winter essentials to try out.
Nina – Teddy Fleece Poncho in Sand
This is a new addition to Bedroom Athletics range this season and it is one of the most wonderfully warm, cosy and soft ponchos you will ever come across. Coming in a choice of two colours sand and soft pink it is available in sizes extra small (UK size 8) through to large (UK size 14), however due to style it could definitely be worn by larger sizes.
This is a poncho with punch (though of course not literally), with its warm furry hood and large round shape it really does start warming you up from the moment you snuggle down in it. I love the detailing of the draw string bobble ended strings for the hood and it features two pockets meaning you can keep your phone, iPod or tissues close at hand.
The Nina Teddy Fleece Poncho retails at £50 and it's worth every warm penny (I'm sure it could help you save a little on your heating as well).
With the top half of you all warm and cosy, there is no way you can let your feet get cold and of course Bedroom Athletics have a wide range of slippers for sale, from the wonderfully patterned to the beautifully coloured. But personally I have quite a soft spot for this plum coloured pair.
These faux fur slippers are fluffy on the inside and out and incredibly easy to get on thanks to the zip on the front. Sizing on these allows you to choose from four different options which ranges from small (UK 3/4) through to extra-large (UK 9/10).
My Mum wears a 5 while I am a larger 6 and we both found that the medium fitted us well, they are quite fluffy inside to start with and the soft fabric helps it give to the shape of your foot, while still allowing some stability compared to other less well-made slippers.
The Marilyn – Classic Faux Fur Slipper Boots cost £20 and come in a number of different colours.
Having heard a lot about Bedroom Athletics in the past I was excited to try them out for the first time and I have to say they really do live up to expectation as a well-made, cosy brand that I can definitely see myself buying more from in future.
But how about you, what do you think about the sound of Bedroom Athletics?
