  1. I love a picnic at the beach, even in the winter with my daughter. She loves watching the sea. These are great lunch bags aren’t they they wipe clean so easily and I love the compartments.

  2. We have a beautiful nature reserve just 10 minutes walk from where we live. My wife has been shielding since March so we have only just been able to go out and about again and we’re worried how long that will last! So a picnic at the nature reserve would be lovely.

  3. I’d love to go to the woods for a lunchtime picnic. Love all the sounds, smells and textures that surround you, the perfect place for little imaginations 🙂

  4. My children love a picnic, anywhere we go for a walk with the pushchair or for a ride in the car a picnic has to come too. If we are headed to the beach for the day then we always take a picnic with us
    My children see us going out as an opportunity for a picnic.

  5. After the year we are having, anywhere would be nice! However, you can’t beat a trip to the seaside, with a picnic.

  7. I’d love to have a picnic at the seaside. Just to be on the beach seeing the children enjoying themselves, listening to the waves and getting some sea air and sunshine would feel so good

  9. I would go with my family to Bodiam Castle for our lunchtime picnic as it is a place I loved going to as a child and my both my children like going there as well.

  10. My little boy goes on farm and zoo trips with his Dad so I like to pack him off woth a nice pinic.
    We also live by a woods and loved taking picnics down there in the summer.

  11. I’d head to our local nature reserve because it is pretty and tranquil and makes you feel like you’ve really got into the country even though it’s not too far away.

  13. I love a lunchtime picnic at the zoo with my children, especially now the schools have gone back and it’s much quieter.

  14. My husband and I work from home now so bought a picnic table for the garden during lockdown. Sometimes we go to the local park with our son for a picnic.

  15. We like going to the castle grounds in Tamworth. It’s a beautiful place to sit and the park is great fun for the kids!

  16. I would love to picnic at Cannock Chase because I haven’t been able to go for a long time and i really love it there. It takes me away from everyday life and lets me breathe for a minute. Stunning views are also a bonus.

  17. The nearest park – it’s near and it’s even got covered areas for if/when it rains so you still get to be outside

  18. We live fairly close to the Peak District, so would love to venture to somewhere like Dovedale with a picnic. It is so pretty there, whilst still being local. It feels like you are away from everyday life and can truely relax and enjoy time with the family.

  19. I love going to the Clent Hills for a picnic it has the best scenic views it is a great day out with all the walking you can do x

  21. our favourite place for a picnic is charlecote park in warwickshire as it is a beautiful national trust house and garden with a river and plenty of places with a gorgeous view. however we aren’t near it any more so are happy with anywhere green or wooded, ideally with water to sit beside!

  22. We like picnics in Tentsmuir near St Andrews as there are forest walks and also the beach. Great for kids and dogs.

  23. I would love to go to the lost cathedral garden’s in the City Centre of Coventry. I use to go there with a friend at lunch times for a lovely break. That was before I got Fibromyalgia and I miss doing things like that just popping for a walk and eat my lunch out

  25. I would love to go to our local lake, Hollingworth. We’ve avoided it over the last few months as it gets busy and we’ve been shielding but I’ve really missd it.

  26. I would love to be able to look out at the sea somewhere and have my picnic. I think the sight and sounds of the sea is so relaxing.

  28. Cannon Hall, Barnsley. Not only a lovely place to walk around with wildlife, but also a farm and museum too.

  29. Living in just about the middle of England, I’d love to have a picnic on a beach. I miss seeing the sea!

  30. We have been enjoying national trust sights recently, monitored numbers and plenty of space. If only we could guarantee the weather!

  31. i would like to head to my favourite country park, ywell in northamptonhire i spent many weekends walking there as akid it brings back so many apppy memories

  32. For me it would have to be North Wales, Rhos on Sea. This place holds so many wonderful memories of my family, I could think nothing of having a wonderful picnic…rain or shine, admiring the views of Wales.

  33. I would love to pop out at lunch and enjoy a picnic by the sea. The smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves is just so relaxing, plus its a great place to people watch.

  34. We love a picnic in Williamsons park, the highest point in Lancaster, where we can see the mountains of the lake district (including Scafel and Helvellen) on a cloudless day, as well as over the sea toward Ireland xx

  35. Raphaels Park has plenty of green space to let off steam along with a huge lake for feeding the ducks and swans any leftover crumbs

  36. Studland Bay in Dorset, After being confined to home for so long would love a long walk on the beach and a picnic lunch

  37. We normally go to Blaise Castle Estate in Bristol because it has a large green, a big forest and castle ruins as well as a manor house!

  39. I love going for a picnic at the beach, so long as there aren’t too many people. We went out for a picnic today with our granddaughter. We went to a nearby beach, and there were loads of people (a couple of hundred at least!) on the beach nearest the car park, so we ended up walking half a mile along the dunes and then came down to a smaller beach where there was just us and one other family. I don’t understand people who are happy to be on a crowded beach even in normal times, but in current circumstances it is even less appealing, especially when we did not have to walk very far to be on a nice quiet beach.

  40. I’ve just moved into a new home. At the end of my back garden is the beach, so a picnic outside my beautiful victorian back doors would be perfect.

  41. We recently discovered a balancing lake very close to home that we hadn’t visited before. It’s really peaceful but there is a small picnic and play area. So I’d like to go there.

  51. To a lovely local beach, Angle in Pembrokeshire. It’s not too far to walk from the car park and if you don’t want sand in your sandwiches there is a lovely wide wall to sit on.

  52. A place near us called Corstorphine Hill, a great area right beside the zoo, you can even see some animals! A walled garden and ruins x

  54. We have a gorgeous beach near us so I would head down there, feel the sand in my toes and the waves around my feet before sitting down for a lovely picnic and some SAND-wiches ;P

  56. There’s a country park not far from us that is just the most amazing hills and rocks. It’s so quiet and amazing fun.

  58. My mobility is not too great, so I cannot go too far, luckily I live opposite a park, so I would pack a lunch and go have a picnic there, hubby does it every lunchtime while he works from home
